A great little b&b and a fantastic base for exploring Jasper. Richard and Astrid are excellent hosts and offer great advice and recommendations for the Jasper area. They have thought of everything you might need for your stay and were so kind in taking us to the station for our trip on the Rocky Mountaineer. You cannot go wrong in... More

We do not tend to mark 5 lightly but we could not fault this small guest house run by Astrid and Richard. It is ideally situated a stones throw from Downtown Jasper and it comprises a comfortable bed, a washroom with shower and a fridge with kettle , toaster and coffee maker. Also in the cozy room is a dining... More

Nice room and excellent idea for breakfast - providing you with the ingredients to make your own when ever you needed it. Good location and Astrid provided us with a lot of local information. Shame the deck outside our room wasn't really appealing to sit out on - it could do with a little tidying up.

We stayed two nights in the Pyramid Room and it was warm, comfortable and quiet, with a view over the back of Jasper to Pyramid Mountain. We had easy parking and it was a convenient short walk to the centre of Jasper. Breakfast supplies were plentiful and the room was serviced every day. We were very grateful to Richard for... More

Great place to stay in as a base at Jasper. Richard & Astrid are wonderful hosts, so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing the places to go in Jasper with us, including their own local tips (we had too many options and too few days to go to every one of them! but the ones we did, we were glad we... Clean, comfortable room. Everything we needed for breakfast, cereals, juice, fruit, bread and preserves all set out for us. Great location for touring Jasper and surrounding area. Very helpful and knowledgable information about places to visit. We stayed for two nights and really pleased with the location of Amanda's as we were within easy walking distance of several good restaurants.

My son and I stayed for two nights at Amanda's Guest House on August 14 & 15. We were both extremely happy with our accommodations. We stayed in the Pyramid room and everything was perfect. The room was very clean and aesthetically pleasing, and we felt very relaxed and comfortable. Our room was fully equipped with everything we needed for... More

I feel there is little to add to the reviews already here: the downstairs room was kept spotlessly clean with lovely homely touches to make it feel less like a hotel room and the breakfast provisions were always freshly replenished. We liked the independence this gave us, as we were not tied to a 'breakfast' time! However, what made our... More

Loved this place. It was nicely decorated and very clean. Everything you might need was right there. The breakfast options I recall were cereals, fruit, bread, juice, yogurt, peanut butter, jelly, honey, teas and coffee. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and nice. There was a breakfast table inside and a table upstairs on the deck with... More

Being lazy, I have never written a review on Tripadvisor. But for Amanda's Guesthouse, I couldn't wait to share how great my experience was - We stayed there for 3 nights and were reluctant to leave. The room was cozy and spotlessly clean, with all amenities right at your fingertips. Astrid and Richard, our hosts, were very friendly and were... More
