A very big site with excellent location. Very quite and very comfortable to go in and out , safe but could be cleaner especially the rest rooms. As it is the largest site we have visited during our trip we found this as too large with some missing facilities but it is quite and comfort.

Visited in the summer as part of an month-long expedition through Alberta and BC. This is a brilliant campsite - its a huge site, and is very natural; proven by the animals we saw while there. Elks happily wandered right by us, and a whole range of others were happily around, not causing us any bother which was amazing to... More

Great camp ground that despite its size offered great privacy. Was not as hard to get space to pitch as I was originally told. The price of the site was also really good as well. Lots of walks from the campsite and walkable distance from Jasper centre. Lots of amazing wildlife inside the campground also. Would love to have stayed... More

By far and away the biggest campground we visited on our family trip but somehow it managed not to feel overwhelming or crowded. We went in the height of summer holiday period but had booked ahead. As an aside the park campground booking system worked very well. The section of the campground we were in is organised as a series... More

This is a nice campground with lots of opportunities to see wildlife. If you're coming here with an RV but want to make use of the toilet and shower facilities make sure you have a space close to the washrooms since some of the spots are a +20 min walk from them.

This is a lovely campground which doesn't feel too big and is a short drive from Jasper. The RV sites are staggered amongst the trees which means you don't feel on top of each other. The washroom facilities are clean and of a decent standard. We had a heard of Elk in the campsite, fantastic to see, especially the big... More

Maybe not the most private sites I've seen, but the staff were really friendly, and we enjoyed listening to the elk as we lay in our tent. We didn't require a fire or any hookups of any kind, as we were just tenting for the night, but the cabins looked good too, and seemed super affordable!

Park is beautiful, healthy forest, many big trees, quiet and well maintained. Every morning a elk family was visiting us. The big male was constantly checking on his group. Couple of bears too were present. So much to visit all around: Mount Edith Calvell, falls, hicking, river, walk... We really enjoy our time. We pass one week.

We returned this year following a 4 year hiatus. One of our favourite places, hook-ups or not (as this year), so much to do in this area. Love the biking around the campground or on the area biking trails. Although we were without reservations this year our site was very good as most sites are. Really like the centre trail... More
