Nurit & Moshe A., Israel We stay in Columbine House at Jasper 3 nights. Karen is more than welcoming. We were treated with home made yogurts, baked cakes and fresh juices. The unit is large , comfortable and very clean occupied with everything that needed to fill like home. If we will come again to Jasper , we would surely stay... More

We enjoyed 2 nights in this studio B&B for our stay in Jasper. It is a drive into town but we never had a problem with parking. Karen is so welcoming and the breakfast provisions of home made bread, yoghurt and preserves were amazing. There is also juice and cereals. We had good wi-fi, plenty of room for the kids,... More

Karen did everything that she could to make us feel at home, which we did. The accommodations were as advertised, but better. Everything was comfortable (especially the bed) and clean. The shower had lots of hot water. I loved sitting in our private patio and reading at the end of the day. The homemade bread was a bonus each day.... More

To us, this version of the B&B worked out really well. Getting fresh, homemade self-serve breakfast every day is a perfect compromise between the luxury of a full B&B breakfast and the flexibility of not serving breakfast at all. The location is far enough from the center of town to be nice and quiet, yet close enough that we could... More

We drove in from Lacombe through a terrible snow storm and consequently arrived very late. Our hosts stayed up for us and greeted us with smiling faces. Our room was very large and the beds were incredibly comfortable. There was an ample supply of hot drinks and snacks for us including fresh fruit, homemade breads, yogurts, jams, juice and milk.... Hi Sam, I'm very glad that you and your family enjoyed your stay here at Columbine House, and hope that having a "powder day" at Marmot Basin ski area made the stress of the drive worthwhile. Thank you for your kind words, and for staying with us at Columbine House. Hope to see you again soon! Warm regards, Karen Columbine... More

Totally agree with all the previous comments, lovely stay. A larger shower would make it so much better. We stayed here for two nights to visit the new glacier skywalk accessed from the Columbia Ice field visitor centre, we also visited the Jasper Tramway.

Karen provided us with everything we needed. So many wonderful home made goodies for breakfast just topped it off. The garden unit and it is a unit, as there is a huge king bed, nice living area with plenty of local reading material, a quaint kitchenette and a massive big bathroom with just a little bit too small shower -... My wife and I spent 3 nights here. We loved the spacious accommodation with it's own private entry so we could come and go as we pleased. It included all the facilities we could possibly want. But we did find the shower cabinet a little small given everything else was so spacious. We looked forward to the breakfasts and Karen's... More

Everything was perfect staying in Karen's lower level. Clean, plenty of space, comfortable bed, wonderful homemade bread, jam and yogurt for breakfast. Plenty of privacy. I would highly recommend as a place to stay in Jasper. Better rate than hotels, too. You can't go wrong here.

We are fortunate to have found Columbine House for our four-day stay in Jasper. Karen thought of everything to make our stay very comfortable. In addition to her expert advice, she provided a large selection of books and magazines about the surrounding area, which was helpful in deciding which activities to do. She kept the mini-fridge amply stocked with several... More
