We had difficulty finding a hotel in Jasper (especially on short notice) that was within our budget and in the town of Jasper - we wanted to go there to meet family that was also vacationing there. We read several reviews on hotels in Jasper and also searched all over the net to find a hotel that we thought we'd... more

Stayed at the Sawridge for 3 nights at the beginning of August 2008. Found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. When we booked we were offered breakfast vouchers. We were not sure what this would provide but turned out to be the full buffet breakfast for free. Our room was facing the outside with a balcony and was large... more

The sawridge inn is exactly what I expected after reading the previous reviews. This hotel was fine for the price. The staff have all been very nice. The rooms are not great but adequate. We did upgrade after reading previous reviews. The pool and jacuzzi are fine. The hotel did say they had laundry facilities, but neglected to mention that... more

All hotels in Jasper are expensive, and many have negative reviews. Even though I was booking six months in advance, some hotels in Jasper were already sold out. After extensive research, I reserved a room at the Sawridge Inn. My final bill was $522.62 for the two nights. The hotel is a giant courtyard in the interior and the rooms... more

Stayed for 4 nights in the Sawridge but wasnt impressed by this hotel. The location of the hotel is a major drawback as it is right on the outskirts of Jasper and not convenient as it was a good walk into the centre of the town. Room was fine and large. Thankfully we had an outside room with balcony as... more

15 minute walk from downtown.Used extensively by the major tour companies. It is worth the extra for a mountain view and balcony.Room average and clean.Small swimming pool.Large resteraunt we did not try as the temperature was far too hot for comfort.A large bar serving bar food, the worst fish and chips we have ever had so did not bother again.Luckily we had... more

We stayed here for 5 days and we could have stayed longer. Comfortable, clean, polite and friendly staff and good food. If you are skiing at Marmot Basin there is a courtesy shuttle bus that will take you to and from the hotel. Good sized pool and 3 hot tubs, great to soothe the aching muscles after a day on... more

Hotel rooms in Jasper (a very popular mountain town in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta) are very expensive. You must compare apples to apples when booking a room in Jasper. You will get much less for $200 in Japser than you will get in another (less popular, less mountainous) locale. As long as you know this, you will find the... more

We were given a room facing the atrium. This meant that we were not able to get any fresh air as we did not have a window to the exterior. This also meant that we had a disturbed night as there was a wedding reception taking place downstairs and we could hear loud music until 2am. more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sawridge Inn and Conference Center. The rooms were large and very clean, the hotel staff were friendly and the environment was great. We had to walk to the shops but it wasn't a long walk and it was nice to be away from the crowds. The view outside the hotel was just breathtaking! more
