Stayed here for one night in a cabin style accomodation. Great freindly service at check in even though the poor girl was trying to deal with some beligerent women who hadn't booked but wanted the world.Gave us a cabin that we could drive our car right up beside. The cabin was large with a good size bathroom. Yes it was... More

I stayed in one of the Sunwapta Hideaway rooms. While it was clean and the bed was comfortable, the room was dated. The carpet was buckled and not quite what I would call clean, the table wobbled a great deal, and the fireplace/wood burner door was caked with soot. I had read in previous reviews that the road noise was... More

The cabins are comfortable and relaxing. Not far from the falls down the road. Animals around, bears, deer. But mosquitos too. Be prepared if you are sweet to have repellent outside early evening. Gift shop is loaded with things. Staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is on expensive side but remember you are in a Park and to get... More

Being near the falls and in the middle of the wilderness is excellent with very little traffic passing at night and with the window open you can hear the falls. The staff were very pleasant as well. What lets this place down is the quality of the accommodation - whilst the bed was very clean the rest of the room... More

I first have to address the staff and management at this lodge. We lost our car keys and had to wait all day until my husband could come from Calgary with a spare. We were to check out at 11:00 but they let us stay in the room until 2 as another booking was coming in. Then they allowed us... More

We booked 5 lodge rooms for couples cycling the Icefields Parkway. All communication with staff was easy and efficient. Excellent dinner dining too. Even though it's the only lodging in the area, the staff made every effort to accommodate. Great setting too!

Guest room is clean and decent decor. The restaurant food is excellent for dinner and breakfast. Location is convenient for us to go to Sunwapta Falls and Anthbasca Falls. The reception service is nice and informative. Overall it is a good lodge to stay.

Room was fairly clean. Had to ask for a kettle and microwave at the front desk; no phones in rooms. No hot tub/pool on site. Restaurant- dinner was decent but didn't think it was award winning like the front desk people had stated. Poor internet access, so if you want a get away where you are pretty much closed off... Had a chalet room which was very comfortable, has an open fire that the staff will light for you if required but central heTing is excellent. Walking distance to the Sunwapta Falls and breathtaking views of the mountains. Restaurant staff, food and service were incredible, a real credit to the resort. The chalets are noisy, you can hear other guests... More

My husband and I were delighted with our stay here. On others' recommendations, we opted for the idea of being out of town and along the Icefield Parkway, which was an ideal stop after the trip up to Jasper....and just 50km or so back along the road. The staff were extremely responsive and helpful - they were happy to respond... More
