we stayed at the cabins last September. When we got in the cabin I was very surprised at how big it was. Then I was worried we would be cold as the weather wasn't great, not bad, but cold. Well all I can say is that the cabin was very warm. Wasn't cold at night, in bed either. A very... More

Hard to find hotel, not near downtown Jasper at all, about a 45 minute drive in the dark, small sign by the road. Upon arrival nobody at the office, had to call for somebody to come down Did not get a room in the nice part of the hotel, got something resembling a tool shed along the highway, lots of noise... Stayed here whilst visiting Jasper. Arrived to the news we weren't booked in, not hotels fault but our useless travel company. Left the paperwork with check in woman who assured me she'd sort problem out. Which she did! Very appreciative of that, as wasn't the first hotel it had happened in. Got to our room/cabin. I found it absolutely charming.... More

On the whole our stay was good but there were some problems We had no wifi in the rooms and a poor connection at the main lodge which became problematic. The Delux cabins are small if there is more than two of you and the kitchen was poorly equipped i.e. no electric kettle and poor cooking equipment. The staff were... More

I stayed in a motel style room and i could hear the neighbors talk and and doors closing, don't stay here if you want to have a good sleep.Pool and hot tub was excellent though. It is 30 minute drive to Jasper so make sure you buy some groceries before you get there.

We stayed only one night which was a real pity as the location is fantastic, 30 minutes from Jasper town surrounded by nature and close to the hot springs. Pocahantas has a real rustic charm and feels at home with its surroundings. Staff were friendly and accomodating, beds were comfortable and facilities clean and in good working order. It has... More

staid 3 nights. No luxury but everything you need. Had a cabin on the Athabasca river, gorgeous view, lots of wildlife. The cabins have all the basics in the kitchen and bathroom, they are small but clean, each has a parking space. Staff were really nice when we got there, we had daily housekeeping. This was my second stay and... More

Every time we drove to Jasper, we would drive by the cabins and think - we should stay there, it's looks so nice and inviting. So this trip, we phoned and booked the "Settler's Cabin" #34. Well, I can say that it was clean, but otherwise we were disappointed. The cabin itself desperately needs an update. The bed in the... More

We loved Jasper and our family of 5 wanted to stay an extra night in June 2014 - our original accommodation couldn’t offer another night so we were thankful that Pocahontas Cabins came to the rescue and were able to offer 2 cabins 19 and 21. They were clean but very small, tired and in my opinion certainly not worth... More
