My wife and I first found Beckers while driving from Banff with our one year old in 1980. At that time most cabins were old, but have been very nicely upgrade and we have now stayed here many times, with the most recent Sept.29,30 & Oct.1/09. Love the location and found staff very friendly as usual. Had smoke alarm problem... more

Chalet was average but dated. Bedroom tiny. Not much room for suitcases in bedroom, kitchen well equipped. Elk outside at night which was really nice to see. Hotel staff efficient but upon checking out the price of our 2 night stay as quoted on telephone when booking did not include taxes so we were shocked as we thought that 380... more

The chalets are by th Athabaska River and very spacious with a kitchenette which is well equipped in case you want to cook something yourself. We stayed in a 4 Plex-Duplex -Chalet on the first floor. Apart from squirrels we haven’t seen any animals - pretty sure they came when we left. more

Our large group stayed at the Family Deluxe Chalet for 8 for a 7 nights. The chalet was spacious, clean and perfect for our group. The kitchen was fully equipped and we were able to cook all our meals comfortably. Beckers is only a 5-10 minute drive from the big grocery store (Robinsons) in Jasper. Becker's also has BBQs rentals... more

I would definately stay here again. It's beautiful - surrounded by trees and the river...although a bit close to the highway, but you don't realy notice it. more

My wife and I stayed here for one night as a quick getaway from our home in Edmonton, about 3 hr 45 mins east of Jasper. We had a deluxe upper cabin for two and were very impressed with both the cabin and the resort in general. Check-in was efficient and we were in the cabin moments later after stopping... more

Baker Creek is in a great location a couple of miles outside of Jasper. The river setting was beautiful, and the kids loved playing alongside the river. Onsite is a great laundry facility as well. The unit we stayed in slept 4 (2 bedrooms off the main room that were private in the sense that you could pull dividers across... more

My husband and I were looking for somewhere to stay after driving down the Icefield's Parkway (breathtaking), drove into Jasper town centre but weren't impressed by the hotels rf their prices so drove back to Becker's and luckily they had a room available in one of their 4-plex's. We have never stayed anywhere like this, usually choosing a regular hotel,... more

I found Becker's online and booked after reading lots of positive reviews. We were not disappointed although only one elk wandered through during our 3 night stay! We stayed in a top unit of a 4-plex - very nice; gas fireplace, well-stocked kitchen, separate bedroom and a pull-out couch for our son. We ate at the restaurant one night -... more

We were re-visiting these chalets with our now married daughter and her husband for a special occasion. the chalets are now looking worn, but the worst of the experience was the meal in the restaurant. The food did not live up to its' rave reviews and the service was dreadful. I will write to the books recommending this facility, as... more
