A River Road is the longest running bed & breakfast in Grande Prairie, in operation since 1993. We are located just a 5 minute drive south of the town of Grande Prairie, Alberta, on a large acreage filled with trees and flowers. We are past winners of the Rural Beautification Award from the County of Grande Prairie. Despite being near to town, we are also located near to several recreational opportunities: the beautiful 18-hole Dunes golf course, lit cross country ski trails, extensive paved walking/biking trails, and Evergreen Park. We also have holding pens for horses; trails for horses and ATVs are located nearby.Hosts Rod and Charlotte look forward to welcoming you to their home and community winter or summer. ... more   less
