I stay in GP all the time for work, but won't go back to the Holiday Inn. I got stuck staying here because another hotel lost my reservation and everything else was booked up. They overcharge for what you get. I would reccomend the Podollan, Sandman, Pomeroy, Best Western, Stanford Inn or the Holiday Inn Express over this hotel in... more

I stayed at this hotel because the hotel was the location of a conference that I had attended. Four nights of this hotel and I was ready to give up on 'so-called' luxury hotels for good. The room smelled strongely of urine and there was evidence of the guests before me. One of my friends who attended this conference and... more

Half decent hotel! Fortunately, I go there on business, whereas the hotels in Northern Alberta are WAY overpriced! No breakfast here, and the attached resturant in pretty pricey... perhaps a reflection of the clientel they hope to attract? Good fitness room.. room for a solid circuit workout, with the usual treadmills, stationaries and some free weights, and some cable machines...... more

While travelling on business in Grande Prarie, I had the oppurtunity to stay at the Holiday Inn Suites Hotel on my priority points. To make a long story short the service was fantastic,! The airport lost my luggage and the front desk went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable possible. Thank god they had an on site... more

Stayed here numerous times in the past two year. It's generally a good 3 star hotel for a basic stay. Location: 107 Avenue and 98 Street in Grande Prairie. It's about 8 minutes from the airport. The hotel is across from a major power centre with several major Canadian retail stores and a movie theatre. Airport Transportation: They have an... more

Rooms were clean and for a jaquizi suite it was fairly inexpensie (230CAN$). Do not eat at the resturant for supper, I ate there two nights in a row and was very dissapointed. I paided $30 for a prime rib steak and it was like eating hard leather, I could not believe it! I never had a more discusting meal.... more

Hotel is a couple of years old. Typical Alberta hotel - 4 storey, frame construction. Tends to be quite noisy. Located at the corner of a major interstion - lots of heavy truck traffic. Request a room facing the back of the hotel to be quieter. Rooms are o.k. - nothing special. I was in an upgraded executive room with... more

Our stay at the year-old Holiday Inn was surprising. From a distance it looks great, but up close the quality turns out to be an illusion - this hotel was built as cheaply as possible. Noise carries from the halls into the rooms with little interference, as does bathroom water noise from adjoining and higher rooms (we were on the... more
