The accommodations were very convenient for frequent visits. The room was clean and the made our time there pass quickly. It was wonderful being among so many young people. The staff were very courteous and accommodating.

crappy residence room and very overpriced. Hot and' no frills service. Good points are not too far from strathcona and downtown but I would not stay there again due to it being very overpriced for what you get.

My wife and I stayed at the University of Alberta Guest Accommodation for 2 nights July 24 check in, checking out 26 July, 2014. No A/C. Period! Hot stuffy room! The room had 1 fan. We ask the FD and they told us no room has A/C. Very small window does not allow fresh air circulation. My wife likes to... More

First nite entering room. HOT,HOT and hotter stale room air. NO AIR CONDITIONING. NO BATHTUB. Shower only. Room was switched to small room with bathtub but NO air conditioning. The placed 3 fans in the room. Not very good for me because i am noise sensitive. After 11:00 pm close to midnite the plumbing in bathroom broke down. Just got... More

We stayed for two nights for a conference, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Since this was the summer month, you won't get any noise from the student residence next door. The air circulation was not perfect and the heat was a bit high for May (it was already set to the lowest), we had to open... More

We stayed here for three nights for a conference. Room was very clean, beds were wonderfully comfortable. Access doors to guest room section is kept locked for guests only. The only noise was from a Blackbird outside our window. Price was very reasonable. We were not expecting this type of first class accomodation at a University. Staff were very friendly... More

Recently stayed for a university function. I came to the room, pulled back the comforter, and sat down but something was weird - the bed was wet (and the comforter was not). Immediately called the desk & changed my room. I checked out before the desk opened (only open 7am to 11pm). I emailed them to inform them of this... More

We stayed here while visiting our nephew at the U of A hospital. It is very reasonably priced and the rooms are very quiet, clean and comfortable. The location is very good as we were able to walk easily about 2 1/2 blocks to the hospital. The LRT station is right at the hospital as well, so it is quick,... More

Basically this hotel is good for a business trip specially if you have a conference in Lister Center. Very close to the university and cheap accomodation. Internet is available although you have to bring your own ethernet cable or purchase it from them for $15. Two cafes in the same building, including a Tim Hortons (very useful in winters, you...
