I have read all the reviews on this hotel and was very nervous about booking a room. We were staying there because we were going to the fleetwood mac concert and it was located right across the street. When we first arrived we saw that they had done some renovations and it looked excelent. when we got our keys for... more

The location is great. There is a great restaurant and nightclub, and right across the street from Rexall for concerts. the LRT is walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They accomodated very well to our needs. There are some newly renovated rooms that are beautiful. Can't go wrong with the price. more

My bestfriend and I stayed here for one night for a concert at Rexall Place across the street. The location is great because it is literally across the street from Rexall Place. The room had a bedside lamp in between the beds that was busted in half. When we got back from the concert that night, the night club downstairs... more

As we were attending the gift show this summer, we chose one of the "preferred" hotel recommendations from the gift show booking agents........upon arriving we noticed "unusual" characters around the hotel! SCARY We proceeded to check in and discovered that 1. our reservation was lost 2. were not given the "preferred" rate , so by this time we were nervous... more

This hotel was VERY dirty and everything was broken--lamps/refrigerators/toilets. The towels were a gross color of stained gray and the sheets not much better. It appears that the hotel was built in the '50s and the sheets/towels/toilets/coffee makers/mattresses/furniture/carpet/etc. have not been replaced or washed since then! When asking the front desk for certain things they were clueless. They seemed to... more

OMG!! OMG!! I have never written a review about a hotel before but this one is scary....I stayed at this hotel in Spring of 2008. This was not my choice of hotels but was booked by a hair school competition. I was sent to my room where the air conditioning was barely working, I tried to open a window, later... more

We stayed at this hotel while attending the Alberta Giftshow in February, 2008. We chose the hotel for it's location and the website said it had been recently renovated. From the minute we arrived we knew we had made a huge mistake. You could hear music (loud music) coming from a bar which apparently is in the same building. The... more

This was our 2nd hotel in one stay, after the travelodge down the street was horrifying. Little did we realize horrifying was following us, only to another location and in other means. The rooms appeared clean, and were better than the last hotel. But the rugs obviously weren't vacuumed, the showers blew cold water instead of hot, yet the sink... more
