Stayed in September 2008 and found this hotel to be great. Our beds were sooooo good and there was a desk for working. The location was good with the bus number 100 to West Edmonton Mall out front. We went to a conference at the Shaw Conference Centre next door so very convenient for us. Our room didn't have the... more

Excellent downtown location and friendly staff. However, there were some aspects of the hotel which I did not like. Late at night there was aggresive begging taking place at the front door. Also, some aspects of the building are not that nice, because of the 60s style construction. If you have the chance go to the Fairmont next door, which... more

Stayed on a Thursday night at the courtyard. Very easy to find and on a great location. Received a 6th floor double room that overlooked the river and the street due to the nature of the hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very large. We were offered apples at the desk when we first arrived which... more

I stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip and I have to say that the room was one of the best I have had in recent trips. The bed (king) was probably the most comfortable I have slept in, in any hotel. The room was was very modern in its decor, had all the usual essentials and the... more

We spent one night in this hotel, having flown in from London, meeting up with a relation coming in to town from Toronto. We separately booked what should have been similar rooms, however one of us got a pretty small room overlooking the car park, whilst the other got a fantastic dual aspect room with a view over the river.... more

Tagged along with my husband on his business trip. This hotel was great for both of us. Close to downtown with easy in and out with the car. We had a fabulous view of the Saskatchewan River from our room and the leaves were red and gold and the sun rise every morning was incredible. The breakfast was very good... more

We stayed at this hotel for 9 nights whilst we were visting Edmonton to watch Ice Hockey. First impressions of this hotel were not great from the outside but the interior (Lobby, Bar Area etc) was superbly presented and welcoming. We had a suite room on the top floor which had lots of space including a living area, seperate bedroom... more

I don't consider myself hard to please. But I expect a few basic things, like a clean floor. The cookie behind the curtain i can understand but how housekeeping could miss a set of false teeth in the middle of the floor is beyond me. The ceiling grate that fell down when i was out of the room didn't impress... more

We stayed for 3 nights in a lovely room with a king size bed. It was a nice quiet corner room so we had a view over the river valley and the gardens at the Fairmont hotel next door. The room was spotless and I liked the fact that the bed was made up with white linens -the duvet cover... more

Room was fine (though the building seems to have a constant hum/vibration). They only offer valet parking. Parking attendant never seems to be around or busy. Returning late at night, security guard clueless about where we should leave the car for the attendant and when busy, the attendant and the guard gave conflicting instructions. I sent an email to general... more
