Well, this place is not a 5 star resort, but it is ok for the price. Does need a bit of updating and some renos would help. The beds are very comfortable, our room was on the side that faces 63rd Ave. and it was very noisy. The bedspread was stained and there were cigarette burns in the blankets and... more

This is the most grusome, horrific and down right disgusting hotel I have ever seen. A rundown of what was wrong with the room: 1: The lights didn't work. 2: The door looked like it had been busted in. 3: There were stains all over the floors and walls and the coffee table. 4: The blankets and sheets were ripped... more

For the price it was worth it. It was a little untidy but the restaruant that is below is the best restaruant for home made food that you will ever get! more

Nice hotel for the price. Tasty food at the attached restaurant. A bit difficult to turn into when driving up from the south, but plenty of parking is available once you get there. Friendly staff too. more

My husband and I stayed at the Argyll Plaza for our 15th Wedding Anniversary. although, it is not located at West Edmonton Mall, the package that was offered is outstanding! We arrived in our room to find a lovely basket full of all kinds of treats. (White Wine, chocolates, red delicious apples and scented tea candles). Candles for what you... more

Not impressed, big time. Selected this hotel based on the rate and mall package. Hotel located in the industrial zone, close to a busy road and some warehouses. Huge, empty room, very noisy whole night and day. Silly breakfast - just coffee and bagels. No protected (locked) parking (was a concern). No pool, and nothing to see around... more

I have stayed at the Argyll hotel at least 20 times over the past 8 years. It is an older hotel, but has had many renovations to the rooms and lobby to keep it spruced up. It has become my "home away from home" whenever I visit Edmonton. It is not a fancy hotel - don't expect 5-star furnishings or... more
