For the price I paid it certainly could be worse. Positives: fabulous mattresses, lines, and duvet covers. Large flat screen tv Management was flexible with requests. Granite bathroom counter and new taps. Large pool and nice hot tub. Good for short term stays. Negatives: due to age of building the walls allow you to hear very clearly peoples 'extra curricular... The most confrontational manager I've ever met. So incredibly rude that we would have left if we had the energy. The room was not very clean, most of the linens and towels were stained, the train behind sounds like it's in your room, the shower turns into a bath because it doesn't drain, seems like the construction has come to... When I spoke to the owners about a problem with theft in the room of a minor item, they called me a liar, and proceeded to yell and berate me. Told me that they didn't have time for this and I was free to call the police. I have never been treated this way at any hotel and was astonished... More

After worst Howard Johnson in Red Deer, landed in edmonton worst hotel. Looks our luck are bad, getting worst hotels. Econolodge is under renovation and train noise, no elevator, front desk very rude and bad and manager is worst of them. Breakfast had stale muffins and pasteries. What a day. The seem to be busy but NOT GOOD MOTEL.

The front of the hotel is under construction. There was really no place to park except on the street. The clerk was friendly. Went to room real quick to turn on AC so room could cool while we went yo eat dinner. It was a joke, it's placed above bathroom sink with duct tape all around it. When we came... More

Doesn't look like much from the outside but the rooms are very clean and spacious. The stairs are a bit of a drag but the exercise is good for you. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The wifi is sketchy; works great sometimes and not so good other times. Heard the trains a night but they didn't keep any... More

I didn't like the outside of the hotel when I drove up to it because it looked like the hotel was under renovations. But it was actually quite nice inside. The rooms looked like they had recently been updated with new carpets and beddding. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. I liked my stay and the front... More
