Comparable quality to other Westin properties I've frequented- nice, clean room & bathroom with basic room amenities- flat screen TV, mini-fridge for storing some cold Canadian beers, and comfortable linens. The hotel staff were all very nice, though I think everyone I met in Edmonton was nice. The bath towels were fraying, which is the only negative I could speak... More

Stayed as a delegate for Rendezvous Canada 2012 and ufortunately experienced the worst ever service at this hotel. Practically no room amenities, tea bags not replenished (despite requests) and they even put tooth paste sachet (pouch) of a third party brand as if every thing was cost cutting affair. House keeping was perhaps at all time low. Except a smooth... More

No pop machine, rather not have fountain pop & wifi not included, that is a basic that should be standard in every hotel. Beyond that everything was wonderful, love the interior!!!!

Overall, the property looks good ... but if you look closely, the rooms and halls could use a little "spit and polish". Edges of bathroom could use a super good scrub, walls are marked up, hallways look tired. Basically, it is a little bit tired .... but it is also more than adequate. But those BEDS .... awesome!!!!!! Staff are... More

Nice Starwood property in downtown Edmonton. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Service with the staff was average (spotty service from the valet/bell desk staff) but the downtown location is excellent. Only downside is the lack of street parking for overnight parking (pricey valet is available). 5-10 min walk to downtown malls in the warmer weather. There are a couple of... More

I book with Priceline. They send me to a lot of Westins. I always enjoy the experience. This one is excellent too but this one is just a touch threadbare. The lower channels on the tvs don't get good reception. They blame it on Shaw, the cable co. They should provide wifi free. Enough already. No-tell-motels provide it free. What... More

This is part of the large Westin chain. It is well maintained and has a wide range of amenities. It is right downtown so there are good restaurants within walking distance. The hotel restaurant serves reasonable but quite frankly, seriously overpriced meals. There is much better within a block. This Westin experience is much like all which is good in... More

This property is due for a major renovation. The hallways are horrible. Scratched scuffed walls, threadbare carpets, noisy unenclosed ice machines. The doormen don't greet you on entering. The self parking is $23. Plus tax and it was hard to find a spot. Read your billing on checkout. They charge $1.00 for the daily paper, $2.00 on Saturday and I... More

I recently stayed at The Westin Hotel in Edmonton as part of a business trip to Edmonton. I stayed there for 7 nights. I often stay at Westin Hotels and like the product they offer. This hotel is in a great location in Edmonton and close to the centre of the city. There are always taxi's handy at the front... More

We stayed at the Westin for one night. The room was nice but air conditioning did not work the greatest. The room stayed warm even when turned down to 18 degrees. The parking is expensive at 26 dollars a night and this did not get you guaranteed underground parking. There was a wedding and visitors came and were not staying... More
