I stayed at this hotel for one night. I planned on staying for 4 nights but after the first night, I checked out. I was given a room with an adjoining door. The walls (perhaps through the door) allowed me hear my neighbor use the washroom, talk and sneeze. In fact, I heard his alarm go off at 6:30 am--not... more

I tour for a living. This hotel is clean, safe, and the staff is very helpful. The only downside is that the parking lot is underground and vans do not fit. You will have to park across the street in an outdoor lot owned by Staples. There is a large shopping mall attached so there are lots of food options... more

Well, I was hoping to get the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald when I booked this on hotwire, and I don't think the Sutton Place is a 4 star hotel, but it was pretty nice. The room was large and very clean, with views of downtown. The bathroom was average size and had great brand name soaps, lotions, etc. The area of... more

I think all of us have times when everything goes wrong from the minute you start. My experience was nothing like some of the sad reviews I read, but I sympathize. The Lobby is very dated and dark, but the rooms are really great. It was once a Four Seasons, then a Sheraton and now a Sutton property. They did... more

Sutton Place is definitely not a 4 star hotel. I have stayed at Super 8's that are much better than here! The rooms are adequate, however, the room we stayed in was grimy (stains on the chair and bedspreads). The tub would not drain at all. The clock radio did not work. The ice machine did not work . Parking... more

I was in Edmonton with my nephew for a concert, and we were meeting other family members who were staying in another room in the hotel. Upon pulling up and parking out front so we could check in, I went to the desk and gave the name of our reservation. We were told that someone had already come in under... more

This property is ideally located in Edmonton if you are looking to be downtown. Breakfast here was good, the room was clean and the pool was well taken care of. Unfortunately, I found Edmonton to be a place where there really isn't much to do. However, the locals are very pleasant and it is easy to find your way around.... more

Not what I would consider a 4 star hotel. One other poster mentioned it needed a "good cleaning" and I must agree. Tired and outdated is my best description. Parking at $19/day a bit steep in my opinion. I'll look forward to my next visit to Edmonton, but will not stay at the Sutton Place. more

We stayed for a couple of nights on the thanksgiving weekend. Our room was a Deluxe king facing the north end of Edmonton. There is self parking and valet parking available. Self parking is done in the underground parking lot that can be entered on 103 ave. The self parking will cost you $19.00 per day when you pay for... more

When I opened the door to room there were large stains on carpet. When you sit in restaurant overlooking lobby you can see a layer of dust on wood molding for the length of the restaurant. On a positive note...The room had the most comfortable bed. This hotel was probably once a 4 star hotel, however it needs a thorough... more
