I was incredibly nervous when I first booked this hotel because of other reviews but the first thing I noticed when I walked in was that the lobby was stunning. My flight had landed really early so I arrived at 9:30am, and obviously there were no clean rooms. The front desk staff were so great, and held my bag for... More

This is a nice hotel, good service at the front desk, a little bit old but rooms are spacious. I like that is close to the city centre and you can do good shopping, also close to bus station. Should consider on refurbishing rooms to give a new look, it needs it. Houskeeping was good too

The good. Friendly welcome from staff on arrival, comfy beds and pillows. The bad. Quality of room service food, very poor. We ordered 2 expensive but not very good salads and were generously provided with one roll between us. The ugly. We went for breakfast in the restaurant, it was quite a bizarre experience. We waited some minutes at the... More

3 days with no hot water now. 12 days with no change of sheets. No market or vending machines. Stained, nasty bedding and carpet. Slow elevators and you aren't allowed to use the stairs or you set off the alarms. No washing machines. Stay somewhere else.

We stayed in the Sutton Place Hotel during the World Triathlon Grand Final. We called ahead two days before our and told them we were going to be arriving very late as our flight didn't get in until after 11 pm. Upon our arrival, we found that our room had been given up because they had overbooked and we were... More

I have stayed at the Sutton many times. But over the years this property has lost its touch. The location is on the edge of a fairly poor area of town with lots of homeless individuals loitering. I do not recommend this property. I hope it cleans up its act.

I am not a terribly picky traveller, but I do want to feel comfortable in my surroundings. I had an event so didn't get into my room until 1:30am. My king deluxe room was a two bed double room, so had to call down in the middle of the night and get moved rooms. Thank goodness because the first room... More

We came for a wedding on labour day weekend. Our room was on 25th floor but as we entered room the was a strong humming noise from an electric motor that you could here in the room, we knew right away we could not sleep with this noise, also the carpets were quite dirty had black grease marks on them.... I spent a week whilst travelling to Edmonton to compete. The hotel were very accommodating regarding competitors bikes being kept in the room. Rooms were spacious. Toiletries provided and a great shower. Huge bed too. Lots of storage to get everything organised. We had splendid views. Complimentary Wi-Fi and bottles of water/tea & coffee. Go to the roof top gym at... More

I stayed at the Sutton Place Hotel on the weekend that was busy with young sport teams. My room was spacious with a single king bed and the bathroom had plenty of room though the toilet was quite low to compare what I was use to. Wi - Fi worked well for my needs and it was free and the... More
