I recently stayed at rosslyn and it was ok besides house keeping STEALING from me and front desk didn't seem interested in solving it or helping, I definitely didn't feel they were on my side BUT I suggest you Do NOT stay here unless you want your belongings stolen!!!!!!!!

This review should be removed as the important facts have been omitted from their review. This guest claims to be missing over 8K in cash. They contacted the front desk by telepone one and a half hours after checking out to report the missing cash. When we asked if they wished us to contact the Police to investigate, they declined.... I have had to stay here for 2 months and the staff has been just supper and very helpful. It is very clean. They change the bedding and clean the room every day. Bed was very comfy and so were the pillows. Has a 30 inch flat screen TV not the old square 20 inch TV. Has a good size... More

Room was a good rate. Had booked a queen bed but bed was not as large as a queen size. Bed was very comfy and so were the pillows. Room and bathroom were dated but clean and in very good condition. Received complimentary bottled water and Fibre 1 granola bars in room. Had a very good on-site restaurant.

Thank you for your comments. We are currently working on changing out all of the guestroom bathrooms that you indicated look dated. This should be complete in early December. This will also include a new Queen size bed and box spring. More

The Rosslyn is a decent place. The room is nothing spectacular but the bed and pillows were very comfy, and that is my number one concern when I book a hotel. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The attached restaurant is a good place for a cheap breakfast.

Thank you for your comments, the Rosslyn is essentially two hotels, one offers value the other a little higher quality. We will post your comments in our staffroom for all of our employees to read. More

We really appreciated the first rate family suites and hospitality. Just a few days before the wedding, our rehearsal dinner plans fell through and Debbie was able to set us up at the hotel with a room and food for the dinner. We would stay there again and again.

I guess this hotel has been here for the longest time and that should make everything ok. But it's not. I stayed here for a night with my friends and I was disappointed. The beds are super tiny, they could barely take two people. Two big people wouldn't fit on it, that's how small it is. I was very disappointed.... More

What this customer received was what they paid for, an older room in the original hotel, the room has 2 double beds and is the "lowest" price we have available. We also have larger rooms in the tower with 2 queen beds available, unfortunately at a slightly higher price. More

Stayed one night and over all not too bad for an older hotel. First room was not very good, smoke alarm went off due to the steam from the shower, it was right outside the bathroom door. Spoke to the desk and they were very accommodating and moved us to a better room.

The older rooms fill a specific need in the market place, they might be older but that also does not mean we are not working on bringing them to a higher standard. More

Stayed at Rosslyn Inn for two days immediately following a 2 day stay at Holiday Inn Express Edmonton North. We are working on improving our WiFi but with everyone carrying multiple devices it makes it a challenge to keep up. The rooms may be older but they serve a specific need in the market place, those that want a clean affordable room. We also have the amenities you are looking for in our tower rooms for a few dollars... More

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel and found it to be very good. We ran late one day and my grandson had been waiting in the lobby but left. When we returned, the staff let us know that he had been there and where he had gone, as soon as we came in the door. Although the A/C was... More

Thank you for your comments, it sounds like you stayed in one of our older rooms from the original hotel. Slowly but surely we're renovating the washrooms and In mid August we will be dropping all of the rooms with 2 double beds to make them single queens giving everyone a little more room. More

Thank you for your comments, we are pleased to learn that we found a way to correct our error (missing the package) and making you happy.
