Every single business trip to this hotel has been terrible. The best room is average at best, and don't even get me started on the 2nd floor.. The front desk will always try to put you on the 2nd floor ( Old wing ). The entire hotel smells like smoke, but you can't even stand it on the 2nd floor.... more

We have no records of complaints from this date. Had the guest contacted us we may have been able to rectify their concern.

Deplorable!

Stayed on the second floor of the OLD wing. They wouldn't move us, stating there was nothing availlible, meanwhile people behind us in the 'same' line were given what we were asking for. Rooms are small and limited in features, such as table and chairs to simply sit and watch TV with a friend. TV s are out of focus... more

We attempted to upgrade several guests from this group, unfortunately we had 3 large groups in house. We did relocate as many members of the group in question as we could. We attempted to make their stay more comfortable, we offered them personal compensation even though they were not paying for the room. With every attempt we made to appease...

I stayed here on a very chilly night in January 09. I paid $143CDN for a room with a queen bed in a non-smoking section on the second floor. Knowing what I know now, I would not stay here again and would go to the Super 8 next time. The room was pretty basic, which I don't mind. However, the... more

It appears that this guest paid the rack rate. We do extend alternate rates for corporate travelers, members of AAA etc. who can provide the required identification at check-in.

Disgusting

Booked a non-smoking room - upon arrival we were booked into a smoking room. Front desk staff said the hotel was full but he would move us if something came available. The next day I was talking with 3 members of our hockey team who arrived after I did - they had complained as well - 1 about being put... more

When guests check in before the 3 PM check in, they are given the first available room in the room style that they have requested. In this case it appears the guest unfortunately received a smoking room. If immediately upon checking in a guest contacts the front desk requesting an alternate room we will do our utmost to accommodate the...

-- Room is $80 -- Priced way beyond quality -- Second class dorm-quality furniture -- Only the bare essentials beyond TV -- $10 extra charge for fridge -- No fridge, no microwave -- Feels like a dormitory room, very small -- Cheap appointments like bedclothes -- TV does not allow for portable video players -- Telephone has missing pieces --... more

My fiancee and I stayed in a jacuzzi suite back in Feb 2007. The room "looked" amazing with one BIG problem. Among the flower pedals that were laid out on the bed my fiancee found a large 2 1/2' sewing pin. Moments before I had been lying on the bed, in that same spot. Out of sheer luck the pin... more

Stayed here for a week, as all the other hotels in Edmonton were fully booked. First problem is that there is no iron or ironing board in the rooms. You have to request one, I've never heard of this in modern hotels. Second problem - The TV picture would fade in and out making it unbearable to watch. Third problem,... more

A really nice hotel with great amenities. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel staff are friendly and effecient. The only downside with this hotel is it is way out from the town centre (half hour bus ride to town center, one hour to WEM), and it costs 60 dollars for a taxi from the airport. Also, if you're... more

We arrived late - around 2am....Very tired, all we wanted was a bed!!! Ian at the Front Desk was great at checking us in. The housekeeping staff was marvelous! Our room was very clean & well maintained. The staff in Prospectors were also friendly. We could not have asked for a better stay! Wish we could have stayed longer -... more

I just returned from a trip to Edmonton, a great place to visit. While there a large group of us stayed at the Rosslyn Inn & Suites. We had wonderful service from all the hotel staff. In particular, Rhonda Gilbert at the front desk. She was always helpfull and there to answer any questions or concerns we had. It was... more
