Front desk staff very friendly, however the internet is so slow it is basically useless. Good luck in finding someone to ever show up at the restaurant entrance to actually seat you---and it says to wait to be seated. I waited 5 full minutes last time just to see if they ever came to see who might be waiting and... more

Everything at this hotel was beyond what I expected! Friendly staff, beautiful meeting rooms, excellent food, the whole nine yards! I have never stayed at a better hotel! Anything you need the Sawridge Edmonton South they can accommodate! I highly recommend this hotel! I will surely be staying here again, and again. more

Just a note, this hotel is not under the Holiday Inn brand anymore as of Aug 15 2008. I stayed here for business, because I needed to be in the south Edmonton area I thought this location would be close to where I need to be. However there are some bad points of my stay. My room was somewhat decent... more

This is a very good hotel for business or leisure. Rooms are simply but clean. Staff are very friendy. There is lots of parking and free wireless internet. Did not use the pool or fitness facilities but they looked adequate. Would stay here again. more

Stayed 1 night in April. Would not accept BA staff discount. Room was very spacious and comfortable apart from the dreadful smell of cigarette smoke coming through the air vents into the bathroom and bedroom. We explained to the front desk upon check out and they didn't seem to believe us as it was a non- smoking floor. They didn't... more

Checked in to suite, pulled out sofa bed and found Cheerios in the sheets, yes, Cheerios. Had to wait for a maintenance guy to come and change the bedding as no housekeeping staff were around in the evening. Room had a lovely view of the restaurant. Speaking of, restaurant was mediocre at best with horrible staff. Meeting rooms were dingy,... more

Night one - arrived checked in was fine, nothing special, 2 am trains start going by the room and being LOAD, our room was unfortunately on the North side of the hotel, got no sleep that night, called front desk to complain and was told the hotel was full, we were booked for three nights... the next morning I requested... more

The room was beautiful with a business desk, comfy chair with ottoman and a king size bed with very nice linens and pillows as well as a small fridge and wireless internet. We traveled with our 18 month old son and found it extremely comfortable. The staff was wonderful, friendly and professional. There were 2 downsides The first was our... more

Although the hotel does have a lot going for it the front desk staff makes me reconsider my stay. There is a shuttle to the airport and the Mall but if you bring your own vehicle make certain you remove everything from it as being broken into seems to be the norm here. The couple travelling with us had the... more

Anybody staying at this Holiday Inn needs to understand they are going to be sleeping 100 feet from the main Edmonton North/South railway line with a railway container yard just a few hundred feet away. At night you will hear trains going by & railcars being moved around as containers are loaded & unloaded. The first night is going to... more
