Seriously, I would never ever stay there again. We had booked this hotel as a long weekend romantic getaway that ended in us leaving the next day. The hotel looks nice and beautiful on the website but once you get there.... The only good thing was that the room was clean - except for a filthy broken hair dryer in... more

Having just spent the weekend at the Chateau Louis in Edmonton, it was the BEST we've ever had of a Hotel room. The SERVICE was GREAT (PERSONEL WERE VERY FRIENDLY and VERY CARING which makes a person feel VERY COMFORTABLE), the morning brunch was TERRIFIC, and the Hotel is FABULOUS and VERY CLEAN not to forget to mention the room,... more

We had asked for a non smoking room but it certainly did not smell like one. Additionally the carpet was terribly dirty from a number of long term stains although the balance of the room was clean. The smell and carpet stains have left us with a "bad taste" and we will not be staying there again. more

Was in town two night for a reunion just up the street at the Aviation Museum-a previous stay at the Ramada across the road last December was much less than impressive, so decided to give Chateau Louis a try. Five minute walk from my venue. For about $100 not expecting much, but ended up in one of their newly redecorated... more

My daughter stayed there with her cadet group for a competition being held at the Jefferson Armories. I was very disappointed to find out that the room had smelled like smoke and that they actually had to empty an ashtray when they first got to the room. They did not feel comfortable and were treated like a nuisance (the entire... more

I celebrated my birthday at their hotel and had an excellent time. The hotel staff were very helpful, especially the staff in Julian's Piano Bar. They did everything they could to making my party feel comfortable and welcome. The bartender was excellent and the food was perfect. The decor made the night very special and the Presidential Suite is well... more

Had no issues at all. The room was clean. The hotel was as quiet as any other one. The location is great if you have to go to the royal alexandra hospital. Staff were pleasent and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great and the food and service in the Piano bar was awesome. more

I have stayed there numerous times and it has been affordable and enjoyable. Great location and full buffet breakfast included in price. I didn't consider writing this review until I was forced due to no availbility at this place to get a room across the street at Ramada Inn. What a difference. I would recommend a lounge/restorant at the Chateau(very... more

I had to stay here for 4 nights as I had training for my job at a nearby clinic. I thought that the outside was nice...on the website picture. The room is rather dated with stained furniture and a super small bathroom. The gym was ok except my room key didnt work to get in there as well as the... more

I have stayed here two times in the past month. First stay was for 4 nights as I was taking a couple of courses at NAIT. I emailed the hotel and got a great rate for the basic Queen. I was unsure what to expect with the rooms but for the rate I was just expecting a bed and something... more
