The Cedar Park Inn is just that - comfortable and adequate. The decor is almost too 70s/80s, although the painted flowers on each blue door was probably a remainder from when it known by another name. It's just not a hotel that stands out nor one that gets a traveller excited. The Seasons restaurant was actually very good. We had... more

We just stayed at this hotel for a hockey tournament and left after the first night. They were infested with ants. The front staff was unconcerned and stated that they could come and clean our room again and when they came up we pointed out the ants covering the hallway carpet , and then they opened the door to the... more

Just returned home after 3 nights at this hotel for a hockey tournament. The first thing you notice about this hotel when you enter is the smell of old smoke and old food, and the 2 homeless guys, one in the parking lot and one in the lobby trying to bum money off of people wasn't great either. So, our... more

During the first week of March i stopped over in Edmonton for 1 night before leaving the country for a 2 week vacation. My plan was to visit West Edmonton Mall for the day. Originally I was planning on renting a car but $100/day seemed a little expensive for one night. My flight out of the country the following day... more

The good first. Cheap, friendly & take pets. The bad. Loud; as in you can hear everyone beside and above you. That includes tv's, voices and plumbing. Smells old and any tobacco use lingers throughout. more

I found this hotel on TripAdvisor and decided to go with it because of the price. The location of this hotel was excellent as I was going to a concert in Rexall Place after driving 4 hours to Edmonton. It was easy to get to from the Queen Elizabeth II Highway and then continue up to the concert venue. The... more

We stayed three nights at this hotel while visiting family in Edmonton. We had a suite with two rooms and a king bed. There were two flat panel TVs which was nice and a couch plus love seat so you had some room. There was a microwave with the coffee stuff where they had two (small) bottles of water with... more

My wife and I stayed at the hotel from Thursday to Sunday inclusive, in early July, 2008, and would certainly go back. Contrary to other reports I've read, we didn't hear a train once and wouldn't have even known there was a train track running behind the hotel had we not been told. Other than for some street traffic from... more

We were in Edmonton to attend a major event. Even though this is an older hotel, we found it to be clean and comfortable. What was outstanding was that there was no road noise whatsoever. Our room was at the front of the hotel over the entrance. We have travelled a lot and never experienced such quiet nights, great for... more

My finace and I wanted to have a romantic mini vacation after a particularly stressful week. We wanted a jacuzzi suite and Cedar Park Inn had one left, so we took it. With the hefty price of $380.00, we were extremely disappointed with the room. I thought I saw dirt in the tub, but it was just a bad stain.... more
