Would have been nice to know before making reservation that hotel is under construction. Should be very nice when done. Parking somewhat of a pain because of this. Poor location, not close to anything, almost always looking at a 15-20 minute drive to get somewhere. Rooms are OK but nothing special. Could not control temperature in room and mattress was... more

I was in for one helluva surprise this week when i checked in to this hotel and found out that the rooms where renovated. The desk is improved with modern 32 inch flat screen tv's, AMAZINGLY comfortable beds and modern washrooms. I enjoyed the wireless internet and find that relaxing to check my emails from the bed. Lastly I would... more

The building is a bland 1960s slab, of little architectural merit, located in a vast industrial area some distance ($20 cab ride)from Downtown. Its main purpose appears to serve the attached Convention Centre. Arriving off a late flight the reception staff could have been somewhat more welcoming than they were. The room was adequate and clean ,but the bathroom was... more

This Holiday Inn is located on the east side of Edmonton, in the middle of a barren industrial area. Do not expect any views from the hotel or anywhere near it, and there is nothing nearby that you can walk to and enjoy. I stayed at this property for three nights to attend meetings held at the hotel. Here are... more

If you don't have a car, or if you are visiting Edmonton for pleasure, stay well away. This hotel is located in a heavy industrial area and there isn't as much as coffee store within miles. However, if you have business in the northest sector of Edmonton, or King's College, or if you know the town, you will find this... more

This hotel is not at all centrally located, on the contrary it's in a pretty ugly industrial area with few services close by. The hotel itself is rough around the edges -- peeling wallpaper, stained carpeting and somewhat off-putting overall. Considering that much of this chain has undergone recent renovation, this hotel is overdue. more

If you don't have a car, it's almost impossible to get anywhere from here. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere with only the near non-existent hourly public bus to get you anywhere. They do have a free shuttle to & from the Edmonton (HUGE) mall that you have to book the day before. I used it as a... more

Stayed one night at this hotel on the way back to Vancouver from Regina - attended a cousin's wedding. The staff are very courteous & very professional. The buffet dinner was ok. The rooms were quite clean & the staff was nice enough to give us a quiet corner suite. more

I was here with a large group, and I found it to be a really great place! Except for some minor things. The bad things were there was a large stray hair in the sink, and in the corner in the tile grouting, there was some small back hairs. But in the corner, and I have an eye for this... more
