3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

I was in this hotel recently after getting an extremely good deal on Hotwire. The lobby of the hotel is quite nice and spacious with lots of seating. Our room however was quite old and all of the furniture was scratched, chipped and almost falling appart. Everything from the TV, the bathtub and the desk looked like it had gone... More

Haven't stayed here in yeras, it used to be a Crown Plaza that was run into the ground but new ownership has reviatlized much of the hotel with more to come from what I can see. Have to say I only stayed in a concierge level room so all my comments are based on those rooms and I have no... More

We stayed at the Chateau Lacombe on our wedding night at were upgraded from our Concierge floor room to a suite. The staff did lots of small things to make our stay special. We highly recommend this hotel! It was a great place for us to stay before boarding Via Rail in the morning.

Writing this in my comfortable king sized bed at Chateau Lacombe, but sadly that was the one of the few things going for this hotel. The location is decent since you can walk to some good restaurants, though the area can have some sketchy characters. It is an older hotel with some attempts at upgrading. Since there wasn't much to... More

We had friends to visit from the hospital. Used to enjoy 82nd Ave, now our last few visits at this hotel have been spectacular. So now we have a favourite. No reason to leave the hotel when business finished. You have a nice lounge, good food, sometimes I still like to shop which is walking distance. Price is right, cleanliness,... More

My husband and I just returned from a 3 night stay at the Chateau Lacombe in Edmonton. We got a great price on HotWire and when we arrived at the hotel, upgraded our Standard King Room to a Concierge Room for minimal cost. One of the best things we ever did!! The room was spacious, very clean, comfortable and we... More

Wasn't here long enough (only overnight) to get a good feel for hotel. Not the most impressive hotel (from the outside) but reasonably well situated. I was on the city side so didn't have a view but there is a view to be had if you get the right rooms. Nice little lounge bar to relax in after work with... More

As a world traveler on three continents, this is my best hotel experience in Canada. It's mainly due to the great service: Manager Adam went out of his way to ensure our room was clean, Breakfast server Israel really cared about our breakfast buffet, bartender Britney made excellent and surprising drinks. The top floor restaurant with the rotating view was... More

I've stayed here twice in the last month because of location by the Winspear. I had a suite on the concierge floor and was very pleased. I loved the room size and airines of the opening windows. Room was super quiet for being downtown due to building height. The exclusive concierge lounge was nice for breakfast and a snacks and... More

The hotel was the host hotel for the recent Canadian masters Badminton championships. We booked a renovated room on the concierge floors and stayed for 8 nights. Our room, on the 21st floor was excellent. After reading other reviews we requested a quiet room away from the elevators. Our room was modern, spacious, well equipped and had great views over...
