As a regular visitor to Edmonton, this hotel is a favourite of ours when staying downtown. Rooms ave very comfortable with great views of the city and/or river. Very close to downtown shops and restaurants and oversize parking is close by and covered by the hotel parking fees.

Although the rooms are okay, the hotel itself needs a face lift. The elevator to the parkade is the dirtiest and smelliest elevator I have ever been in! I also do not recommend the parkade for a solo female traveller, it's dark, poorly lit and kind of scary. I chose this hotel because I was only going to be in... More

I booked a room at this hotel via Hotwire (never used it before, but wanted to give it a try). When the name of this hotel came up I was worried, really worried. Throughout the drive from the airport I was having serious buyer's remorse and swore I would never use a blind booking site again. Well, I definitely had... More

Very close to downtown and lots of shops. I had a conference at the university so a little harder to get to. Cab from the airport was a flat rate of $55. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Was awakened at 8:30 by a vactor truck working below. I was on the 12th floor. The vactor was still working... More

I stayed 3 nights at this hotel and I have to say that the staff was very nice and helpful. My only negative comment is the fact that the hotel needs a major decorating update. The bathroom in my room was probably renovated in the 90's and it shows. Please replace the fluorescent light bulb in the corridors on each... More

This hotel used to be beautiful and elegant. Now it is just old and out of style. My room was nice - for an older property, but its age definitely showed. No soaker tub - one of the 60's style 5 foot long tubs that had been refurbished with a spray on coating that was peeling and flaking. The coffee... More

A previous review I read summed up the temperature and WiFi isssue in the room better than I could describe. "The rooms are warm in the winter AND warm in the summer. Mattresses and pillows are long past their useful life and need to be replaced. The room thermostat has NO effect on the room temperature (central air conditioning, rooms... More

Stayed in this hotel recently for one night in May for business. Got a river valley view room on the 17th floor. Pretty nice view for sure. But also noticed the window could not be shut tight completely (in fact the lock was quite worn out). Thus at night was hearing quite a bit of traffic noise (you know, the... More

My husband, one year old baby girl and I stayed there for the on May long weekend. At first we wanted the Executive Suite on the 22nd floor for the view but when we got up there the room hadn't been renovated as of yet and it was pretty outdated. The size of the room was great and the balcony... More
