We're somewhat familiar with this motel having stayed for 3 weeks after emigrating from the UK with our dog. The rooms (particularly at the back) are large, quiet, and well cleaned. We arrived late with no expectations but we were pleased to have chosen this hotel. It had excellent beds, fluffy pillows and lots of them. Room size was smaller than average. The breakfast had good variety. They provided a non-smoking pet friendly room which was great. For its modest price we feel we got excellent value.

Stayed here for one night with family (6 of us). Very convenient for "Kensington" area of Calgary. Good bus service. Endless coffee at reception. Free breakfast. Rooms had fridge microwave etc. Close by river and walking area.
