Hotel located in the Calgary motel area. Good acces and 5 minute walking to the Banff Trail station. Big rooms, comfortable beds but plain breakfast. Breakfast as well as customer service could be improved. There is no lift, which makes the access to the room quite inconvenient. Worthwhile for one night!

This motel desperately needs renovating. We were given a rate of $105 for a large, 2 bedroom, 3 bed suite, at 11 p.m. Seems great, right? Until I saw, and Smelled, the room. It's very outdated and worn-looking; furniture circa 1976 is my guess. A short list: Cracked bathroom flooring, carpet seams coming apart, lingering cigarette/old things odour. The bed... More

Was somewhat worried about staying at this hotel from some of the reviews given, but was pleasantly surprised. The exterior of the building is kept us nicely. Looks better than the website photo. Nice outdoor pool. We had a room near the back where it was quiet from traffic. The only drawback was being on the bottom floor as you... More

We stayed over one night for Stampede, on our way to Banff. Location was just out of city centre, but train stop was very close, so not a problem at all! Direct access to the highway, so easy to get to Banff! Rooms were basic, good, clean and had everything we needed! Breakfast was also a good start to the... More

Stayed there for 2 nights on my last roadtrip across Alberta and British Columbia. Very spacious room. Big enough for 5 of us. Complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi. Very helpful and kind staff. Free parking. Outside swimming pool where you can relax a little bit. Clean. Few restaurants around and shopping mall 10 minutes’ walk. Would stay there again.

Arrived there after booking several months in advance. They put us is a smoking room!!! Yuck! Said you have to book non-smoking. When you book with points (Scotia) it combines smoke free wifi and looks like spoke free but its free wifi. Finally switched to an ok but very dated room for the night. Next night we were moved to... I am glad we were able to book you into a non-smoking night for the second night. We still have 10 smoking rooms on the property and have them as they are frequently requested. The summer is a busy time and rooms do book up quickley. Please free to contact us at the property directly anytime you have booked on... More

Only stayed here because no other rooms were available in Calgary. Upon check in, was given asmoking room because clerk said "you had requested it". So I was stuck in this wore out, noisy (right next to highway) stinky room for three days. Three bottles of Febreze couldn`t help.

We are sorry that your stay with us was not up to your expectations. The city was very busy during the Global Oil Show and room choices were extremely limited. We attempted to contact you thru your travel agent when we received your reservation on May 25th - unfortunately they did not return our calls or emails. We remember this... More

Canada’s Best Value Inn in Calgary’s Hotel Village is one of the cleanest hotels I can recall staying in right down to a “Clean” remote for the TV, something I have never seen before. The hotel is fairly conveniently located, but does include a tricky turn on or off the Trans-Canada/16th Avenue. The free continental breakfast was surprising for the... More

A very dirty room. Very bad and stale breakfast. All the guests had to share a pot of cheese which was too strange. The bread was too hard and smelly. The room was too old and dirty. There were stained of sticky honey on the table. The customer service was not acceptable at all!!!!!!

I am shocked to hear of your recent experience with us. We take great pride in providing excellent customer service so this concerns me that this level was not even close! Our Housekeeping team works very hard to ensure our rooms although dated, are extremely clean and meet and exceed both the standards our guests deserve and want. Our express... More

Stayed here for 3 days at the end of April 2014. Nice small cozy inn. Cleaner than almost any other place I've stayed! Cleaning girls were great. Front desk staff were great. This is the second time we've stayed here and it will likely be our go to place when in Calgary in the future as well. Oh and the... More
