Desperate to find somewhere to stay for one night after arriving from London. All the other places in "Motel Village" were full, so booked in here. Room largish, but decor strange. Staff friendly. Meant to be wifi in room, but couldn't get a decent signal. Free use of internet PC in reception though. Handy for some fast food places nearby... more

I was in Calgary last month. Boy, it was COLD....brrrrr. The last night before leaving, I needed to find some inexpensive lodging near the airport. The chain ones near the airport were a little pricey given the 1:1 relationship with the US dollar these days, so I kept looking. Ok, very friendly at the front desk and will allow a pet. We found a suite here for 100 plus tax and it had 3 queen beds i think it was room #251. It was filthy and very outdated. This motel is situated in motel village, on Hwy 1 & 16th AveNE. Pleasant staff who were very helpful. Free internet use in reception area and free local phone calls from room.
