We stayed three night in the cottage and absolutely loved it. It's cosy and very private. The breakfast was tasty, healthy and nutritious. We were able to use the bikes two days in a row to explore the area. Deanne and Diana are two great hosts. My laundry was done the same day I arrived and we were able to... More

What a beautiful gem of a spot! I don't even know where to begin to explain how pleasant and positive our experience at River Wynde was. Deanne is an absolute joy; the location is perfect, walkable to downtown and food, shops, and bars in Kensington. The backyard is worth the price of admission alone. My girlfriend and I spent two... I visited Calgary in April 2014 for the conference. I spent almost week at River Wynde and it was really very, very pleasant time. I'm not the most social person and usually it takes me at least two days to fill comfortable with other people but these ladies are such a wonderful and easy-going hosts! The house was pretty and... Really enjoyed our stay here for two nights. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming and really helped us on our travels. The room was lovely and was like having our own little cottage. Easy access to everything calgary has to offer. Thankyou for a great stay. Kristelle and jack

We stayed here in September and October 2012. It was a wonderful experience and we enjoyed it very much. The breakfast was delicious, the neighborhood is exceptional and the host was most friendly. We did a trip through several national parks and started and finished in Calgary in this fab B&B. The hosts gave us a can of bear spray... More

We stay at the River Wynde B&B every time we travel to Calgary and have slept in everyone of the rooms at this B&B over the past number of years. They are all similar and comfortable. The breakfasts in the morning are wonderful - good, fresh and satiating. They offer gluten free options as well which is wonderful. We won't... More

I recently spent 6 relaxing days at River Wynde Exec. Suites. It was my first time in Calgary, traveling solo, and I certainly lucked out with my accommodation. The hostess, Deanne Mudd, was warmly welcoming, friendly and helpful. My room - and the home as a whole - was clean, comfortable and with all those thoughtful touches like a bathrobe,... More

We stayed at River Wynde for 3 nights in a little room out back (converted garage) and we loved it. The B & B is in a great location (Kensington), and we could walk downtown in 10 minutes. Our room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The only downside is that the bathroom is inside the house (a couple steps... More

Alert to those who won't stay at a B&B with shared bathrooms! If you're going to Calgary, read on. My wife and I stay at B&B's often and a private bathroom is a must. We didn't realize when we reserved our five nights at River Wynde that the bathrooms are shared. Shockingly, it didn't matter a bit. When we were... More

We stayed three nights with Deanne in July and cannot emphasise too much how we enjoyed our stay. Perfect hostess, comfortable bed and great breakfasts. Deanne, most helpful on where to visit and eat. Very easy 10 to 15 minute walk to the city. Would highly recommend.
