Unfortunately, our stay at this campground & Calgary was clouded by heavy forest fire smoke otherwise our campsite would have had a great view of the city. The sites were a little close together and roads tight to maneuver with a big rig. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Overall the Campground is dated and in need of upgrading.

Much of what others say is true. Small sites, slow WIFI. But there are quite nice laundry facilities, nice enough showers, water at each camp site, etc. We were in a tent, though there were lots of RVs nearby...some obviously there for a long time. The entire campsite was grass covered, which was nice. The folks are nice...and the place... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. No fire allowed. The sites are pretty close to each other. We stayed at a pull thru in E section. Bathroom and Laundry available. The Wifi is slow. Mini golf and pool. The pool closes at 8pm. There is no privacy. The location is great though. I don't consider it a good place for... More

Sites too close to neighbours and not level nor maintained. Pricey for what you get. It seems the owners are not putting money back in to the park. Washrooms dated and dirty - too much useage - should be cleaned twice a day. Roads ungraded. Wifi reception not available outside of Office "hotspot. Upside - great location and park was... More

After reading some negative reviews of Calgary West Campground I was a little skeptical about staying there, but was pleasantly surprised. The sites are a little close together, but you have to remember this is in the city. The location is very convenient to the Trans Canada. The campground was clean, had a nice swimming pool and a laundry. The... More

Don't stay here. It is an overpriced dirty unkempt parking lot! This was the worst place we stayed at in Canada. They put us up by the long term camper storage, which didn't make sense since there were much nicer spots that stayed empty the whole time we were there. The little bit of grass had rotten food, garbage and... More

It is close to the city and highway and easy to get to. The sites are really cramped. The first night--had a reservation for 2 months-- we got put in the first come first serve sites. No internet connection. the power box had one 20 and one 30 amp outlet that had to be shared. Ok so we got the... More

This campground needs some serious rebuilding. I paid $58.80 per night for a three night stay with water, sewer and only 20 amp electric service. I have a 33' fifth wheel. I'm really happy I had extra hoses and a 25' extension for my electric cord because it was quite a stretch getting to the water faucet and electrical box.... More

Campground is located on a hillside close to city center with nice views. Washrooms are old and dated. The RV sites are small and close to other campers, the slide-outs almost touch, The pool is nice. Staff is plaisant. Expensive for the accommodations provided. Wifi is anemic. I would not stay there next time.

Number of disappointments with this facility. For RVer's take care entering the lot - there is a dip in the pavement that threw the crockery off the shelf in our couch. If they place you in Lot "D" expect to be crowed and have problems levelling. The shuttle service to the bus loop sort of works - staff drive you... More
