Located in a very commercialized area a few miles south of downtown Calgary, the outside of this hotel could use a facelift. The plaster was rotting away and the colors made it look even worse. A mixed experience - On the positive side the hotel was located where we wanted to be and the family room was big enough for us as well as having 2 bathrooms. After checking in, we opened the door to our room, only to find a man using the toilet (door open)! We told hotel staff that there was someone in our room, and she assured us there wasn't, but gave us a new room anyway. Rooms are average in size, but very clean and comfortable. Found the staff at the front desk to be very friendly and helpful. Compared to the service found at other places in the city we visited, the staff were a very welcome change. Enjoyed our stay and will tell friends to use this hotel. more

This hotel is NOT recommended to anyone. This has to be the dirtiest hotel that I have ever had the unfortunate opportunity to stay at.
