We only stayed one night at the end of our Canadian Rockies trip. This was a nice hotel in a pretty good location in town. After coming back from a Lodge where the service was pretty poor we were happy to check in to the Fairmont and have that great Fairmont Service from the moment Valet opened the door and... More

For the price and the name, I was expecting more. It's outdated and I understand it's a Fairmont which makes much charm out of the history of its buildings. My room was huge -- one of the largest I've ever stayed in. I could have done six or seven cartwheels and not exhausted the space. One imagines a pilates class... More

The hotel is in a very good location, next to the main shopping and restaurant street, i arrive very late at night, had some trouble finding the belll captain for valet parking, but other than that my Jr suite corner room was large, and had good light. The bathroom was a little dated and small, but since it is a... More

The Palliser is the "grande old dame" of Calgary hotels, built 100 years ago in the shape of an E for "energy". The rooms and common spaces have been recently renovated and are in very good taste. I was there for a four day conference and was happy with the room - mostly. When you are used to staying at... More

I was only at the Fairmont Palliser for one evening after a long flight from London and before heading off to Lake Louise, but I would have happily stayed for longer. We were a party of four, across two rooms (one a suite; one a twin) and the standard of the accommodation was exactly what I expected from a Fairmont.... More

The property and rooms are gorgeous, but if you are looking for service…go somewhere else. We have stayed in a lot of Fairmonts and the employees at this location were not of the same caliber as other properties. There was no concierge, the front desk was incredibly unhelpful (I watched 3 people ask if they knew where a coffee shop... More

Stayed in Fairmont Palliser for two nights and found it to be very nice we had booked Fairmont Gold which is always lovely but we were upgraded and had the most fabulous room. We stayed in two other Fairmonts in Canada on our trip The Empress in Victoria and Waterfront in Vancouver but the Palliser was the best. Staff very... More

The Customer Service was outstanding. The Gold Level was worth the extra expense. Rooms were luxurious, spacious and very clean. The staff especially Hayde Macilla, Neal Hemraj and Jeff Cham were the best. Great stay!
