Although only here for one night out of an 11 week holiday, I felt I needed to post a comment about the outstanding level of service offered here at this hotel. I can only wish that some other hotels could send their staff to The Calgary Marriott to learn about how to greet and welcome weary travellers. more

This Marriott (I stay at alot of them) is at the top end of quality and newness for Marriotts. I tend to stay at Marriott chains for the points and the consistant quality of the rooms and locations for business. This Marriott is right next to the Calgary tower, they Hyatt is next door and the Fairmont a block away.... more

I managed to book this hotel on Priceline for USD$75/night and it was excellent value for money. The room was comfortable and clean and was fully equipped with TV, phone, hairdryer and toiletries. We were on a holiday and so didn't have a laptop with us but the hotel has a small room where you can access the internet or... more

Friendly staff and comforbale room, I would stay there any time. I only had a 2 day stay so I did not get to enjoy the area around the hotel but it looked nice enough more

Over the past 6 years I have spent about 300 nights at the Calgary Marriott. I've come to know this hotel and most of its staff very well, and they me. It is nice, yet somehow disturbing that they recognize me on sight and can call me by name... though, when I meet a rookie that tries to tell me... more

I recentely stayed at the Marriott. The hotel is very ritzy, lots of great staff and super service. My only complaint would be the fact you have to pay 15.00 a day for wireless internet (even if you are staying there) and the food is VERY expsensive. The bed is awesome, one of the most comfortable I have ever slept... more

Just as you would expect from Marriott. Excellent location, professional staff, large room with comfy beds, great facilities. It only has a 3.5 star rating from expedia but I definately think it is at least a 4. Better than some 5 star hotels I've stayed in. I'd recomment this hotel. more

The service at this hotel is outstanding. All the staff were friendly, check in was flawless and there was always someone to ask if we needed a hand or suggestion of where to go. We stayed in a suite with access to the concierge lounge which I would highly recommend. Complimentary desserts and appetizers as well as a first class... more

The Marriott has a good location downtown across from the Calgary Tower. Quality of the hotel seems on par with other Marriott properties, with three exceptions. 1st: there was no wireless (wi-fi) internet in the room. The hotel needs to remedy this deficiency quickly as most hotels in this category now have this amenity. What Marriott Calgary was happy to... more
