Marriott is always clean, efficient and comfortable. Always. I was here at the hight of the 'Stampede' and even thought the hotel was chockful everything was great. Downside is you still are charged for the internet unless you are a Marriott Rewards Silver or above.

Renovations initiated close to a year ago are now complete. I've stayed here numerous time pre-reno, several times during reno, and now once post-reno. The updates are very tastefully done. The concierge lounge has been converted to the M Club lounge - very nice selection of complimentary food and drinks, as well as you now have the option to order... More

The newly renovated Marriott was really chic, comfy bed, spacious smart bath and bang in the center of town right opposite the Calgary tower. Stephens walking street is just behind and the public transit system is a couple of minutes walk. Lovely restaurants and shopping around the hotel. You cannot get a better choice at these rates. Calgary accommodation is... More

This hotel is located in a sweet spot in the downtown area and very convenient for shopping and restaurants. The hotel is stylish and trendy. The rooms are fairly big and the bath was lovely. We were offered an upgrade to the Club floor for CAD 40. Parking is extra ( $ 20 I think) and they have valet service.... More

Fantastic stay. The staff was so helpful, check in was smooth. The room service was fast and the food was great. It was a nice sized room. My husband and I travelled with our toddler and infant. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The concierge went out of his way to... More

I stayed 4 days for work last week. It was an excellent stay. Nothing more or less than what you would expect from Marriott. Customer service was outstanding. Staff is trained well in multicultural client needs. I arrived at 2 am and needed breakfast to start my fast. The guy at checkin gave me croissant and was very nice. I... More

We stayed 3 nights for the Stampede. We chose a concierge room hoping the extra would pay for itself in food and we weren't disappointed. The breakfast was the same every morning but that was a good thing. Scrambled eggs that I think were actual eggs and not the powdery stuff you tend to get on buffets, bacon/sausage, oatmeal were... I've spent a lot of nights in Calgary, mostly at the Hyatt (which has an issue). I had a great time at the Marriott after abandoning the Hyatt. I slept well. The room was fancy and functional. My primary complaint is that Marriott Rewards loyalty program sucks. Best breakfast I've had in Calgary. Small anecdote: at breakfast, the waitress accidentally... More

Hotel is clean and bright. Lovely lobby area. Staff on front desk were helpful and friendly. The room is not typical Marriott fare, this smelt freshly painted and was clean with greys and browns. The room had electrically controlled blinds instead of curtains and ours didn't work. We reported this at 5pm, went to Stampede and when we got back... More

Right in the middle of the Stampede action. Modern and very comfortable. 10-15 minute walk to the fair grounds. Across from the tower and next to 8th street. Next to Glenbow museum (well worth the visit).
