Stayed here for a weekend with family to see the Jets play the flames. Great location, smack in the middle of downtown, easy walks to the tower , restaurants and stores. Very short cab ride to the Saddledome, could probably walk if you can't find a cab after. Hotel however is dated, towels are threadbare, toiletries suck . More

My wife and I were making an overnight trip to Calgary and wanted a comfortable and convienant location in the downtown core. I was attending an event being hosted @ the adjacent Calgary Convention Ctr so the Hyatt was the perfect choice. There is also a Marriott attached to the convention centre but the Hyatt was offering a delegate discount.... More

I booked ahead during their 48 hr sale to get a very good price to stay on a friday night. Otherwise its way too pricey. The location is on stephen avenue, great for shopping and some neat rest. and pubs nearby. Plus the Bay is a block away. However parking is a pain, so take the c-train. More

Our second time staying here and once again, we were not disappointed. The staff at check-in was courteous and efficient. The room (1201) was a large corner king suite with a view of Stephen Ave and the Husky Tower, as well as a very large bathroom also with a view. The comfortable lounge had good service in the evening for... More

The staff are very friendly & helpful here! From the helpful valet who explained where the fire exits are, various restraurants. The front desk was awesome too. Our rooms weren't ready so they gave us some gift cards to go shopping @ the bay with while we wait. The rooms were clean & decor was beautiful. The c train stops... More

We were in Calgary recently for a business event and stayed at the Hyatt once again. The hotel does seem to have deteriorated a bit, the service was standard, nothing special. The rooms also look a little tired and could do with a renovation. The bathroom is very ordinary with very limited supplies, we were lucky the shampoo lasted 2... More

One of the best if not the best experience ever at a hotel. From the great service, upgraded room, beautiful view and absolutely fabulous breakfast buffet! Would most definitely stay again! More

Booked a great rate through Priceline for a one night stopover in Calgary. I have stayed here before and its location is convenient and central. We walked to dinner and strolled the pedestrian street nearby. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable, they even sell the mattresses if you want one to take home. The gym... More

You get the impression that this hotel was at its best 10 years ago, and that since then little has been done other than widescreen TVs. The good points - my standard king room was moderately large, with separate robe area, very workable desk with plenty of power outlets, power outlets on the bedside table, iPod docking radio, good TV....
