Booked the Hyatt for Stampede. Excellent service and flexibility (almost two hours after checkout time because of hung over roommate - no problem), central to the city and good services and shopping within walking distance. Stampede is also within walking distance if weather is good and you are so inclined. Otherwise trip to Stampede grounds is a short cab ride.... More

We were well received upon arrival at this hotel. I felt like I was a celebrity the way they whisked me up to the front desk and processed our room so quickly. Excellent staff and service! This hotel is centrally located and steps from Stephen Ave which is great. It is a short cab ride/walk from the Saddle Dome as... More

Stayed at the Hyatt on a late stopover and loved the location and ambience. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean and cozy. Being downtown is also excellent as it gives you access to many spots to eat and visit. Stay here...you will like it. Only negative would be having to pay for parking...quite expensive for this... Terrific location on Center Street with Stephen promenade on south side and 7th Avenue on the north side (the heart of the City's LRT and bus lines to everywhere). Stampede parade on the morning of the first day of Stampede (July 4 this year) initially heads west one block North on 6th Avenue and returns eastbound one block South on... More

WOW, What a wonderful hotel. Having stayed during the frenetic Stampede opening weekend, I was amazed at the calm and professionalism demonstrated by all of the staff at this beautiful business class downtown hotel. It had a very warm inviting atmosphere with just the right amount of western style festival feel. All of the employees were dressed in cowboy hats... More

Spent a couple of days at the Hyatt with my adult daughter and had a wonderful time. I was using my Hyatt Gold Passport points and was happily surprised to be upgraded to a suite by Nelson at the Front Desk. It was great to have the extra space, and extra bathroom. Staff and service at the hotel were top... More

We stayed 1 night on our way home from a trip through the Canadian Rockies via Hotwire. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The beds were VERY comfortable. The location is perfect for shopping and restaurants. The wifi is fast and worked perfectly. The hot tub wasn't working but guest services offered to use... More

Ok... so my partner went to Calgary for one reason. We drove from Vancouver via Whistler, Kamloops, Jasper and Banff and need a place to get a cheap and direct flight to SFO. Calgary was that place. We arrived in Calgary and noticed that there clearly wasn't a whole lot to do here. We made our way to the hotel... More

Downtown Calgary can be expensive in the summer...kept a watch on prices, they declined as my trip got closer. Very nice spot - $40 from the airport and 5 minute walk to Bankers Hall. Its close to Centre Street promeande which is lively at night. The Hotel Bar was lively. Well equipped Gym. Starbucks is in the Marriott next door.

I was amazed by the guest services at this hotel. By far the best, staff were friendly, and extremely helpful. They always went above and beyond what I was expecting. The beds are huge and extremely comfortable. The bathrooms are big, but the bathtubs seem slightly dated. The entire room (including bathroom) is very clean. I am picky about cleanliness... More
