Paid >250 night (feels pricey to me) Charge for wifi - was waived Water shut off - I get that tho, some maintenance is required so okay. BUT - it was a hot YYC day and they rented out the pool area to a loud party. I was looking forward to being able to use the pool on one of... More

I am hoping that the water does not get shut off tonight at 10pm (to 5am) to save water, really?? I am here for business, and if I was here for... More

I love hotel arts. It is my go-to when staying in Calgary for the weekend. The prices are extremely reasonable for a downtown hotel. It is in a fantastic location, a short walk to the Saddledome. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are nice and stylish. The restaurant downstairs is pricy, but very yummy! I will be... More

You will either love this hotel or hate it. My husband & I booked this hotel mainly because it was in close walking distance to the Stampede grounds and central to all the action. We met our two daughters age 23 & 25 and we all enjoyed what the hotel had to offer. It is funky, the art is incredible,... More

I could go on and on about the terrible service and how this hotel treats their customers. As you can tell by the reviews already you can see this hotel has a major upper management issue. Our first experience at this hotel was Calgary Stampede 2014. My wife and I booked this hotel 11 months in advance and were really... More

This hotel is well situated in the south side of downtown and just a few minutes walk. The hotel is just ok and the reason I say this is because it's just too dark! The rooms are dark, the reception is dark, everywhere seems to be dark! It's pretty expensive for what is it although the rooms are kept nice... More

Older hotel riding the art theme. The room was too dim, not nearly enough natural light and blue drapes made it look and feel like a dungeon. Power outlets, so crucial in this day and age, are hidden in the worst possible places. $10 for internet and the gym + $20 a day for parking is not necessary, considering the... More

The Hotel has been refurbished a few years ago and although they did an excellent job on most of the renovation there were a few items that they really cheap out on that wouldn’t have cost a lot of money I.e. Hollow doors Toilet to tight to wall Closet need some work Keys were very finicky It was also disappointing... More

Small room, dim lighting, only one small mirror over bath, housekeeping very hit or miss, fixtures base of basic. Staff was friendly but didn't make up for low average room. No Wi-fi except in lobby. Restaurants ok but not anything to write home about.

I chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the start and finish of the Calgary Marathon. It's an easy walking distance and for that reason it was the best choice. The rooms are average, but have very comfortable beds. Other reviews I've read are correct about the hallways being very dimly lit, although this was not an issue. I... More
