We were on vacation and spending alot of money so for our last 2 days we decided to be cheap and stay here (found a super deal on a website, cost us like $60 a night) Since we were out all the time we weren't that picky, just needed it for a place to put our heads. (But having just... more

I've stayed in this hotel previously over the past couple of years. Not much has changed. The staff are much friendlier now than they were previously. I found the room cold, though, when it was cold outside. There doesn't appear to be any weather stripping on the door leading outside. The room was fairly clean and was cleaned while I... more

This hotel needs a total make-over. The room was clean but very hot and the air-conditioner does not work. The building is old and so the rooms. However, the staff were very accomodating and friendly. more

We were passing thorugh Calgary and had the misfortune to be visitng during the "Stampede" which meant that hotel rooms were scarce and at a premium price. We stopped in the motel village area (a quaint name for an ugly concrete jungle of hotels) to see what we could find. The best we could do was a room at the... more

This is an older motel on a busy main route near the football stadium, so it is in a noisy location. The facilities are very basic, but clean. Bathroom was very clean and the room maintenance/housekeeping was very good. Front staff very world-weary; no charm, but efficient. The heating/ventilation system is a bit clunky, but it works. Internet availability is... more

We stayed here while going to the Calgary Stampede. We very much recommend staying here while going to the Stampded because it is near the C-train. This hotel was not really that bad.. although located very much in the inner sections of Calgary at Hotel Village. We did feel safe. more

I stayed here for 3 nights right after the storm/flooding. They gave me a smoking room since it was the only one available. The room was spacious, generally clean. Definitely felt like an economy motel. The maid service did a decent job though they entered without knocking once- it was noon and maybe they assumed i'd be out. I dint... more

I really wish I would have read these comments before staying at this dump. I wouldn't have booked a room here!! Live and Learn!!!. I stayed here with a friend, I found it quite insulting when we were both asked for a copy of our I.D. as we are both well over 35 years of age!!!(actually my friend is closer... more

Upon arrival, I found that the rate of $71.00 was not available due to heavy bookings and $89.00 was only available. Plus they add a $100.00 deposit on the pre approval. I had not reserved the room for this midweek stay. 1st mistake. I accepted the higher rate. 2nd mistake. The room was on the second floor with no elevator.... more

I am not sure why this hotel was so expensive. Maybe because of the Petroleum show in town. Definetly not worth $149.00 including tax. Very old, worn, smelly. more
