Great location and a great hotel - stayed in the newer section of the hotel, and it was a great experience - nice room, great location close to the c-train and the price was right (online deal for sub $100) i've stayed in most all of the hotels in Motel Village and this is my first choice. The room was... more

The staff were rude and could not speak English very well. The room was hot. They wireless internet connection was slow and left a lot to be desired in terms of speed. Bottom line is don't stay here. more

oh! the front desk supervisor couldnt help us too much, the room had a horrible musty smell, my sole opinion is that the motel should be fumigated for bugs, Parking is good and restraunt beside the motel is great. Way too expensive!!!!!!!!!!! more

I can't really provide a full review for this hotel because I did not get a chance to stay in it - they forgot/lost my reservation! I had booked this hotel way in advance as I was attending the Stampede. I called to confirm my reservation the day before I was to arrive to hear that they had no record... more

We were on vacation and spending alot of money so for our last 2 days we decided to be cheap and stay here (found a super deal on a website, cost us like $60 a night) Since we were out all the time we weren't that picky, just needed it for a place to put our heads. (But having just... more

I've stayed in this hotel previously over the past couple of years. Not much has changed. The staff are much friendlier now than they were previously. I found the room cold, though, when it was cold outside. There doesn't appear to be any weather stripping on the door leading outside. The room was fairly clean and was cleaned while I... more

This hotel needs a total make-over. The room was clean but very hot and the air-conditioner does not work. The building is old and so the rooms. However, the staff were very accomodating and friendly. more

We were passing thorugh Calgary and had the misfortune to be visitng during the "Stampede" which meant that hotel rooms were scarce and at a premium price. We stopped in the motel village area (a quaint name for an ugly concrete jungle of hotels) to see what we could find. The best we could do was a room at the... more

This is an older motel on a busy main route near the football stadium, so it is in a noisy location. The facilities are very basic, but clean. Bathroom was very clean and the room maintenance/housekeeping was very good. Front staff very world-weary; no charm, but efficient. The heating/ventilation system is a bit clunky, but it works. Internet availability is... more

We stayed here while going to the Calgary Stampede. We very much recommend staying here while going to the Stampded because it is near the C-train. This hotel was not really that bad.. although located very much in the inner sections of Calgary at Hotel Village. We did feel safe. more
