Staff were very friendly, efficient and professional. Room was ready when we checked in at check-in time (maybe even a few minutes early). Room was perfectly clean with plenty of towels, great tea/coffee facilities and plenty of other amenities to make it just perfect. We had to best time relaxing in our room for a the night as we'd just... more

I love the open space and how you can see all around you. The pool was perfect and the hot was just right. The front desk staff was helpful and polite. The room was quite clean and there was nothing that i didn't see attended to. We ate breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel, it was nothing spectacular and... more

My stays at the Best Western Village Park Inn are only due to a negotiated rate that my employer has secured with the hotel... otherwise, I have other hotels that I prefer in Calgary. After two stays at this property, I believe it to be a decent value for budget conscious travelers lookng for some amenities. However, the hotel falls... more

Stayed here for a week while attending a course at the hotel. Thought the place was great for the following reasons. -room was quiet (5th floor away from the lounge though) -front desk staff were friendly and helpful (did some photocopying for me) -breakfast buffet was good but a bit pricey -lots of restaurants within easy walking distance -lounge bartender... more

We unfortunately we again relocating for my husbands job, they let us splurge with top floor suite, with king size pillow top, giant double jacuzzi tub and lots of room for our three kids with privacy ....;calgary is one of the best cities in world, would go back to live there in a heartbeat. more

Stayed here for one night and probably wouldn't stay there again. The staff at the front desk were friendly but our room was old. Overall it was clean. Have stayed here before and it was wonderful. I don't know if it's new management or owners but the place has really gone downhill in the last five years. The pop machines... more

This hotel is pretty dated with the furniture/decor/carpet. Coffee maker in room was broken, the shower head was barely hanging on the wall and there was a gaping hole where it did go in the wall. The hot tub was closed down by the health authority....so this was disappointing for sure. Front desk staff were friendly enough. more

The economy in Calgary is very good, which means in a lot of cases service was not good. Every business has a Help Wanted sign. This was evident with most of the front desk people at the Best Western Village Park Inn. There were one or two exceptions, but the others were not the brightest and often just plain lazy.... more

Stayed here for 4 nights in January. The VPI always seems to be full, the price was right ($96/night), and the location was ideal (we needed to be close to the U of C) so we gave it a try. We booked online via the hotel website and were guaranteed a king bed but instead ended up with two queens.... more

I visited Calgary for one night and I only needed a very basic hotel as I wouldn't be spending much time there, so I decided to go with the Best Western Village Park Inn. I booked a room with two queen beds for $120CAD plus tax. The room was clean and comfortable. There wasn't much in it other than the... more
