Stayed at the travelodge for 3 or 4 days while a family member was undergoing surgery at the foothills hospital. It is close to the foothills approx 5 minutes drive at the most. It is close to a few restaurants such as Boston pizza, McDonald's, Denny's. The rooms were decent enough as we were only there to sleep mostly. The... More

The Travelodge Calgary is a good place to stay, clean, quiet and comfortable. close to train to go to town. Lots of restaurants close by. The hotel is easy to find and to get in and out.The staff are friendly.

We love this hotel because it is one of very few hotels that allow dogs. Our dog is a 5 pound Yorkie and loved being in the hotel room. We had no problem leaving her alone. The staff was all smiles and very obliging. We will stay there again.

To be fair it is an older hotel however there is NO reason for a total absence of a USB port its 2015 not 1915 there are cheap or out dated TVs. The cable looked it was gouged out of a hole in the wall with a butter knife and wrapped with tape. The reception of the cable looks like... More

The advert said it had a pool, when we arrived it was out of action. The advert should specify that it's closed out of the summer. All the neighbouring hotels' pools were open. We had no hot water in the shower/bath and when we reported it it took three complaints and about two hours to resolve. Beds were lumpy.

The hotel is average in everything, staff are inconsistent, some of them are arrogant and never smile. Have not seen any manager to talk to, window is broken and never fixed, breakfast is poor, breakfast area is filthy dirty and no one is paying any attention to it. It is clear that the owner is saving by not hiring someone... More

Key for me is to sleep well. Bed was comfortable. Room clean. Quiet. Hotel public areas need some redecoration. Breakfast was okay but not great (get better bran muffins and whole wheat bagels; this stuff had too much sugar in it). I really liked that I LRT station to get downtown was right across the street. Considering that I paid... More
