I've read some other recent reviews for this hotel. I get it, you wanted posh and opulence, but when you're paying $120/night in the downtown area of a major city...give your head a shake! You get a clean hotel. You get a nice room with a comfy bed. The elevators work. There is hot water. There are ice machines and... More

1) submitted a pre-authorized form to have a credit card in file for arrival. I still needed a credit card when I arrived for the deposit which makes NO SENSE since we had paid for the hotel on bookings.com. Wth was the point then? Annoying especially when you want to sleep and related after long travels. Luckily the front desk... More

We flew in from England and this was our first night and time in Canada. This is a tired city hotel in need of renovation but that said the staff were helpful and the room on the 21st floor was large but with the smallest bathroom. The location was not bad and we felt we could walk everywhere that we... More

Spent a night last week, check in was smooth, very efficient, friendly professionals working the desk. True, it's older, but at just over $100 it's fine. Room was on the 21st floor, quiet, darkish, comfy king, basic bathroom, good enough shower, flat screen, no bad smells, Timmies, MacDonald's, Mack's, LRT.... right there......... all ya need for a night.

Staff were friendly enough but hotel needs a complete renovation... Definitely does not compare to other hotels for the price.. Spend a little more money this place is a dump. The table in our room had stains all over it, we even found a piece of cereal under it.. Bathroom could not even fit 2 people in it and this... More

I went during the last week of November for business. Stayed for 4 nights. Everything went smoothly, honestly I don`t have much to complain about, and that's always rare coming from me. My only problem was with the WIFI, was very unstable. I had an amazing king size bed, very comfortable with a lot of pillows. Carpet was soft, everything... More

Good location in the middle of downtown Calgary. I was checked into a room with a king bed. When I went to my room, I found a large mirror lying on my bed, along with a few bath towels. I called the reception, they promptly sent someone. They gave me a choice to stay or change my room. But they... More

What a dump! My room was noisy and grubby. The shower cubicle etc needed a good clean. The restaurant was ok but my waitress was obviously desperate to get home! The food was average and had the feeling of mass catering. Reception was busy but adequate. My room was next to the lift and had not been soundproofed against it.... More

website indicated rooms had been refurbished, but when we arrived we were shown a very tired room. At our request we were moved to a better room but the heating wouldn't work, so we were moved yet again to another shabby room. It wasn't the end of the world. Cyberclubber is absolutely right! Rooms and street noise were excessive. Staff... More
