We stayed for just one night whilst attending the Stampede, We arrived early in the day and surprisingly the reception staff found us a room immediately - which was more than we had hoped for. This set our day off to a good start - the underground parking was a good deal for the time we were there, and very... more

Calgary, does not seem to have independent hotels, all seem to be large chains. The Delta Bow, is a good choice to explore downtown Calgary, with the shops, restaurants and bars just a short walk away. The rooms are ample if you are only staying 2 or 3 nights, not the largest, but are clean and modern with all the... more

Checkin was very pleasant and efficient. Good location 5/10mins walk up to the Glenbow museum and the main downtown shopping and business district, also 5/10mins walk to the Eau Claire market and Princes Island. Spacious bedroom with very comfortable bed, good views, opening windows. Car parking available underneath hotel at reasonable rate. Approx 15mins drive from the airport (depending on... more

The room is fine and very clean, but they couldn't transfer a call from my friend although he knew my last name really well. I think the Asian lady at the front desk during the day was rude to me many times during my stay and not helpful at all. She was quite impolite to me over the phone as... more

The Delta Bow Valley is located in Downtown Calgary and is within walking distance of many corporate offices, the Eau Claire Market (some restaurants, movie theatre) and 8th AVE (more restaurants). It is not as new or "high end" as some nearby properties (Westin, Sheraton EauClaire, Marriott, Hyatt) but is usually available at a slight discount versus these properties which... more

While many tourists have reviewed this hotel, I saw it mostly from the perspective of a business traveler. I spent four days at the Delta--having previously stayed in Calgary at the Airport Best Western, the Marriott, the Downtown Ramada, and the Royal Executive Inn. Since most nights I came in tired, I saw very little of the hotel but for... more

The good news is that there ARE deals available for rooms at this hotel. It's not too far from the airport, which is why we chose this hotel at the $59/night price (plus $15 misc. fees) available through Hotwire. more

We stayed at the delta bow valley for the first 3 nights of our month trip to canada with two adults and 3 children 1,4 and 10yrs. Booked the hotel with hotwire so did not know what we were getting. We liked the hotel alot , it was very modern, clean and comfortable. The pool and the spa were a... more

Stayed over Christmas. I hate Brown Christmas. The hotel is brown, the surrounding landscape is brown, most of the downtown is brown (and noisy). Year round brown don't you know. Service was fine, check in and checkout was, in a word , "professional" without any Cowtown hospitality. Nice quiet pool and hot tub. Parking was overpriced. Sheets did not fit... more
