Kathi and David have a lovely home in Calgary, Canada. Their hospitality was outstanding. Even Chai the dog gets in on the welcome. They were all so welcoming. The B&B offers great breakfasts and nice sleeping quarters/bathrooms with access to a sitting room and a lovely sunroom. The sunroom looks out over Kathi and David's beautiful garden and Harvest Lake.... More

The visit to Calgary and the stay at Harvest Lake Bed and Breakfast establishment during the Stampede week was worth the inconvenience of the long journey from South Africa. The accommodation was most comfortable in the beautiful setting on the shore of Harvest Lake. The garden with an abundance of blooming flowers, the Canadian flag which fluttered proudly from the... After 2 weeks traveling through the Canadian Rockies we ended our vacation here. Very close to the airport and express buses ( about a 30-40 min ride) into downtown Calgary. Most of the B and B rooms are in the lower part of the house and you do go upstairs for breakfast but the lounge area and sunroom were great... More

This little gem of a bed and breakfast is on a lovely lake in Calgary. I have stayed in many bed and breakfasts throughout the world, and this is by far one of the best. It felt like home away from home. The hosts, David & Kathi Hamilton, said the only rule is to "make ourselves at home", and they... More

We only spent 2 nights with Kathy & David, but they made us feel very welcome. The breakfasts were lovely, and the room very comfortable. Location is excellent, very close to the airport and easy access to buses to go downtown.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Kathy and David in Calgary in their lovely home. The view from the sunroom is fabulous. Great sunsets and you can see the clouds in the lake behind the house. The location is good too, with restaurants and stores very close.

I stayed at Harvest Lake Bed and Breakfast for four nights. Hosts are very friendly, I felt like I was at home, breakfasts were fabulous, scenery is peaceful and relaxing. there is a strip mall 5 minute walk away with a convenience store and a liquor store. We spent 10 days at Harvest Lake B&B over Christmas and New Year while visiting family in Calgary. The B&B was very easy to reach from the airport and close to a main North-South highway. The room we stayed in (twin, en-suite) was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The communal guest area was very spacious and comfortable with facilities... More

Our family took the 2 rooms downstairs which also included a living room area complete with cool train set. Kathy and David were the perfect hosts. Our plane was several hours late so we arrived at 3am and David patiently waited for us and greeted us with their typical warmth. Kathy creates gourmet breakfasts, each day a different one and...
