Located just north of the junctions of Hwys 11 and 93 this is the only accommodation for a long way. Also on site is a fuel station, pub, gift shop, cafeteria, dining room and (very restricted) food shop. Letting rooms are located in a number of single storey wooden blocks with external decking area shared with neighbour. Reception was very... more

I stay there quite often and love to have a drink in the Pub and eat in the Dining Room. I don't mind grilling my own steak at the BBQ pit in the pub, but hate to miss the fantastic buffet in the Dining room. Dukan, the head of maintenance can be the most fun if he gets going in... more

Accommodation is limited on the Icefields Parkway and you have to drive a long way to find anywhere else to rest your head for the night. The Crossing takes advantage of this and as a result everything is overpriced, especially the fuel. We first stayed here 13 years ago and it looked as though the rooms hadn't been updated since... more

While this hotel is set in a lovely setting ... thats all it has going for it. The rooms were old with the wallpaper falling off our wall. The beds were old and hard and I could write my name on the dust on the TV... nobody would have a shower!!!! Our family room for the three of us was... more

This is the 4th time I have stayed here because the location is ideal - halfway up the Icefields Parkway, but oh dear what a change! I was given a family room for myself, but it was so small , I am very pleased there were not 4 of us in that space. There was hanging space for clothes, but... more

We stayed here twice, the first time in 2001 everything was okay and clean (most important I think). Because we didn´t want to drive the road between Banff and Jasper in one day we decided to stay somewhere in between. I must say the first time we stayed here we thought it was pretty comfi. But the second time, wich... more

We both were convinced that the very old mattress had bed lice or something since we felt like something was biting us all night. The heat was forced water that sounded like a semi truck driving by every time it kicked in. . Could not wait to get out of there. Even left without buying gas since we were determined... more

Must agree with previous reviewers that this place is basic, however it isn't meant to be a luxury hotel. Our room had a mountain view which we paid extra for and I think it was worth it. The most disappointing thing about our stay was the food. Found it to be below average and the service was quite slow which... more

The Crossing Resort really has nothing going for it at all, other than its location halfway up the Parkway. Rooms are bear to say the least. No fridge, kettle or other essential for the weary traveller. Was shocked to see a list of supplied items stuck to the bathroom mirror, with a comment that items removed would be charged for.... more

This is a Motel 6 on the Icefield Parkway. Very small room, no coffee maker in room, no blowdryer, no fridge, nothing. Just double beds, no Queen size beds available. For CAD 149,- plus tax, this was very little. We wanted to head early for the Glacier north of the Crossing, but at 6:30 am Check-out was impossible. While there... more
