Great place in the middle of the national park but miles (kilometres) from anywhere. Full of the character you might expect from an old lodge in wild country. Good food, friendly, helpful young staff provide good service. It seems that the lodge is due for renovation soon and that is needed. The bathrooms appear to date from the 1970's or... More

the lodge is located on Bow lake in one of the most butiful places on the canadian rockies. it is old but that is the buty. it is a must place to saty on a rockies trip. it is also also very close to lake Louis and lake Mourin so it is pefect for a few days of stay.

There is lots to be disappointed with. Unable to find the property address on GPS I rang in advance to get precise directions to find no one answered the phone. On arrival there was no one at reception. I found them having dinner. Apparently the custom is that ALL the staff eat together at the same time which may be... More

We enjoyed walking out the front door of Num-ti-jah Lodge right onto the hiking trail up to Bow Falls - beautiful and not too hard for our inaugural hike. The lodge is on beautiful Bow Lake with a view of two glaciers on a good day. We stayed in Room 15 (2 queen beds) on the second floor, along with... More

I had stayed at the Lodge about 6 or 7 years ago and had been pleased by its rustic charm and the views. I returned with my family and it seems that the present owners are banking on the views (which are unquestionably beautiful) and the proximity of Bow Lake to attract clients. The service and food were good and... More

This is set in a most beautiful location. It is an old timber Lodge and makes a change from all the other hotels with no character! We had booked this last minute and there were 5 of us and we were able to fit in one large room with 2 Queen beds and one rollaway bed. It was very comfortable... More

Excellent lodge. A must see, staff are friendly and helpful. The meals we had were great the mushroom skillet dish that our Scottish waitress suggested was awesome. The view well this is God's country, any which way you look it is breathtaking, from the lake to mountain glaciers and waterfalls. Our only regret was the lodge was full otherwise we... More

You must see bow lake. Beautiful. However don't stay in the hotel. It is run by students that never had any training. Inefficient. Unfriendly. No service at all. Hotel rooms very warm and not able to cool down. Hotel needs serious maintenance Could hardly open the mountainview window room bevause of the power aggregate noise. No propernoise shield was applied.... More

We spent a night here in June for our anniversary, and we had read the reviews and knew what to expect (thanks TripAdvisor!). It is one of the most stunning settings you can get, and the lodge feels like you are going back in time. It is true, it is old, and hasn't been updated in... a very long time,... More

We stopped here for lunch in the cafe/shop before a hike to the waterfalls. - a beautiful walk for all abilities! We had bison chilli and the friendly staff also made fresh sandwiches for one of our party who was gluten free. There is a lovely gift shop with local crafts and generic canadian gifts aswell. I good pit stop... More
