I booked this hotel for Aug 19 about 20 days later. Due the some of the family member could not get the visa to visit us. We have to cancel the hotel. After I spoke with a lady she said she understand that she will only charge me some. But when I got the email they charge me one room... More

Used to visit Num-Ti-Jah in the 70s and 80s with the kids (both summer and winter) but this was the first time back in 30 years. The good news for me is this place has not changed a bit. I realize, from other comments, that some people who like to see a major upgrade take place. However, I feel the... More

This lodge is perfect for the Bow Lake - beautiful and secluded. For the price, this hotel NEEDS to improve. It is relying too much on its location and providing not much else. The price of a 4* hotel, no facilities. It could be rustic and modern but bathrooms are small, rooms are basic and no soundproofing. The Lodge is... More

We stayed there 3 nights the middle of June. We loved it! The staff was great and the food was amazing. The room was good with a view of the lake and mountains. There was still some ice on the lake. It was a great location for exploring the middle area of the parks. Leave the buses of tourists at... More

The old fashion charm has been maintained throughout. Bedrooms are well equipped while the showers are tiny and rustic. Restaurant serves good food. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Lovely spot to spent a day or two while exploring the surrounding area.

My husband and I did an overnight at Num-Ti-Jah Lodge, our first visit and really enjoyed our stay. We chose a Bed & Breakfast rate for our stay. This lodge has a rich history which is displayed throughout rooms for inquiring mind, which I enjoyed. While it is furnished simply as it would have been during it 'hay' days of... More

I was very disappointed with the Num-Ti-Jah Lodge. I stayed there as a kid and had some great memories of the place, but I really regret going back last summer. I can't believe I had to pay $300 for a room with walls and a ceiling full of BATS!! A short summary of the good and bad... The bad: -... More

This is one of the great old lodges in the Banff-Jasper area. You can spend far more at the Chateau Lake Louise, but you will enjoy this nearly as much . . . Especially when you check out. The rooms are large, with no TVs. The setting is magnificent.

My wife and I visited Num-Ti-Jah Lodge in 1979 and absolutely loved the place. So, in Oct 2013 we decided to visit it again, kind of a second honeymoon. It is not the same place. Accommodations are...okay, if you can tolerate the sheet metal shower that has been installed in your room (no bath tub), the cheap carpet, the cheap... More

As one of he other reviewers said, if you want TV, wireless and the amenities of a standard Best Western this is not your place. For those complaining about the price of either the hotel or the restaurant I wonder whether they have ever eaten or stayed in Banff, Lake Louise or Jasper. Standard blah hotels in Banff on Banff...
