Really like this lodge .Very rustic and peaceful. No interruptions from cell phones(no service) or emails (limited satellite internet -for a fee), so a truly relaxing time. The scenery is amazing and it was so nice to see people just sitting and talking instead of on their phones. We had dinner there ,which was really nice and then sat on the lounge chairs... I will give this this place an average rating because the spetacular views distract you from the short comings of the lodge. The staff is pleasant enough but lack experience and professionalism. During our morning breakfast, fowl language could be heard coming from the kitchen staff. Our "rustic room" (#18) had two broken wall outlets and a bare 40 watt... More

My son and I visited Alberta in 2013 and because of the awful floods our itinerary had to be changed. Consequently we drove the Icefields Parkway both ways but had to do it in a rush. I loved the area so much that I was determined to return and explore it more. I decided to go back this year with... More

We stopped at the lodge---"Simpson's Num-Ti-Jah" on our way to the IceFields. What a neat place to visit. The gal at the counter was very, very good! It had snow on the ground--What a Treat! We stopped by for coffee, but the sun came out! It has a lot of glaciers, waterfalls, and a great scenery!

Had the pleasure of staying at num ti Jah the other night, never met a more courteouse staff, was fed a fantastic meal by an amazing team of employees, unfortunately I was only their due to car issues however I am more than glad of this dilemma. The front desk attendent I believe her name was Jenna was very accommodating... More

My husband and I recently stayed here for one night. It is a very historic and interesting place. A little on the musty side. The staff were very kind and helpful. The night we stayed was very hot and we were on the third floor. It is walk up only, so no elevator. Thank goodness the staff helped us carry... More

The online photos made it look very quaint however upon arrival we found it to be very dated and in need up updating. Not what I was expecting at all. I know the idea was to keep it rustic, but this was beyond rustic. Very tight showers, loose wires on lamps, No air conditioning, no screens on the windows allowing... More

We stopped for breakfast which was excellent, the chef has talent, but the waitress was not on the ball. I was brought green tea instead of earl grey and had to ask for my toast. We watched her get orders wrong for other people, even providing a bill for a couple who had not had any food as she mixed... More

We were touring the Banff area and the Icefields Parkway and stayed here for one night. The Lodge is not luxurious, but does have the benefit of a breath-taking location. As the Fairmont Chateau is to Lake Louise, so the Num-Ti-Jah is to Bow Lake, the views are equally spectacular. There the comparison ends. The Lodge is rustic, not particularly... More

After a long day of driving to Lake Louise from Calgary, with stops to take in the sights, we were excited to make our way to our first night in Lake Louise... What, wait... where was our hotel????... omg! We could not find it at Lake Louise, the address listed is the post office box... after a bit of stress... More
