We found this incredible resort on the internet and loved the photos...was afraid it looked "too good to be true" but it really was what it looked like on the computer. We were wanting to find a little place in the woods for peace and quiet and romance to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We stayed in the Heritage Trapper's... More

Years ago we drove down A1 the old two lane road to Lake Louise. On our way to Jasper this time we took the old highway through the Bow Valley. From the road i saw the Baker Creek Resort and we pulled in to check it out. The receptionist was so nice and friendly that we decided on our return... More

Well worth the money, we had jacuzzi suite, gorgeous. Everyone was helpful and went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. Loved the deck and the views and the sound of the creek at night. Weather deteriorated while we were there in early September and they had unusually snowy weather. It was still beautiful. Ate in the... More

Recently, our family had the pleasure of vacationing at Baker Creek Mountain Resorts. For the past 7 years, we had wanted to take a family vacation in the Lake Louise area and finally pulled the trigger on reservations and planning this past fall. As we planned for the trip, Jan eagerly answered our numerous questions as we tried to decide... More

I stayed at the Baker Creek in Lake Louise at early spring this year. We had an amazing time. The room was huge with a private view to the woods. The sound of the train going by in the distance every once in a while just made the "mood" even better. Fireplace and Jacuzzi worked perfectly, the room and the... More

We had a romantic jacuzzi room which would really have suited a young newly married couple (we've been married for many, many years so this made our kids laugh!) The log cabin was lovely and fitted beautifully in to the wonderful surroundings. The heating system was very efficient and we used it as an early autumn was just setting in.... More

I really liked my room. It was rustic but big and comfortable. Nice porch overlooking chalets/cabins. The food was okay in the bistro but I thought the service was very good. Would definitely stay there again if in area. Nice creek in back with fire put for potential s'more making. Is next to railroad track so potential for some train... More

I can only concur with both the good and bad aspects highlighted by other reviewers. The location is peaceful and scenic, the cabins are rustic and cozy, and overall this is a nice 'back to nature' place to stay. On the downside, the WiFi is almost unusable (it's a dodgy satellite up link so fair enough I guess), the toilet... More

We lucked out out got a reservation due to a cancellation at this resort. It is located between Lake Louise and Banff on a designated scenic byway. Our room faced the creek that ran down the mountain, and was equipped with a living room, fireplace, mini kitchen and bedroom and bath. The host JT and his wife, along with the... More

Extremely well kept grounds and log cabins. Added to the whole experience of hiking in Banff. Loved the fireplace and the great areas by the creek to sit and view the mountains. Fantastic location to get to/from various hiking destinations. Our long day hikes required a nice cozy 'home' at the end of the day. Good food in the restaurant... More
