We booked a one nighter here in Baker creek in a room as the chalets had a 3 night stay minium, we got room# 31, closer to the enterance of the resort, the check in was quick and the staff was very friendly :) Our room was STUNNING, the high ceiling over the fire place was beautifully done with logs... We stayed in a Jacuzzi suite for the weekend. After reading tripadvisor reviews I brought ear plugs but it was possibly the quietest night ever! Perhaps the snow dampens the sound of the trains? The room is big, airy, nicely decorated in a bear-western theme. There was a gas fireplace that was cozy and warm. The microwave, fridge and coffee... More

Location, location, location.....it's a gem. Nicely taken care of, good accommodation, super beds and kitchen equipped well. We didn't miss a thing and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Rockies. It is a magical place. We will be back.

Having decided not to stay in Jasper due to an impending snowstorm, we booked a last minute Saturday night stay at Baker Creek. Recommended by a friend, the additional four hour journey to Baker Creek was absolutely worth the trip. We arrived at the hotel and were checked in by Izzy the cat. Yes…..there is a hotel cat that greets... More

We received a gift certificate for a Jacuzzi Weekend as a wedding gift. The chalets are great, the wilderness is great. There is lots of skiing, hiking, whatever mountain activity you desire. The chalet staff are great. The best thing however is the Bistro and Chef Nigel Walker. The food is fantastic, the only thing that is better is the... More

Took my other half here for a surprise getaway and we were both surprised at how much we loved this place!! I love that it does not have TV or high speed internet so you can really enjoy the company of your loved one in such a beautiful place. I wish they had bonfires in the winter at night but... More

Our third year here for a winter stay, and it was very good, as usual. We stayed in Cabin number 5 this year, and cabin 4 the previous years. We look out on the frozen creek and trees, which is a great view. For us, cabins are the best as they are more secluded. The cabins are always clean with... More

We stay here every January and once again we were not disappointed. Comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen make for comfortable living. Baker Creek is situated on a beautiful stretch of the 1A about 11 kms from the Village of Lake Louise. Great cross country skiing can be found right from your doorstep in either direction; the weekend we were... More

We recently Jan 2014 visited Canada for my sons wedding and went to the Lake Louise area for a stay post wedding. Having visited Johnsons Canyon we travelled to Lake Louise and came across the Baker Creek Mountain Resort and liked the look of it and went in to enquire about staying. We were offered a look at a challet... More

My family and I recently stayed in a 2 bedroom private chalet for 4 nights through New Years, what a fabulous experience! The entire staff was always more than accomodating for all our requests and needs, right down to outfitting the entire family with snow shoes for our complimentary guided tour through the wilderness at 7;30 in the evening. We... More
