We only stayed here one night, driving back from jasper to banff. We paid $110 ca, for a twin room with shared bathroom. Reception and staff were fine, the restaurant was good for both dinner and breakfast. We did not try the kitchen or TV room. The setting is very nice but the actual building is old and needs upgrading,... more

We stayed here for just one night (fortunately) but wished we'd stayed put in Banff as paid less money for a nice hotel with breakfast. We had a private room for 2 with a shared bathroom and it cost us can $118/£68. On the plus side, the location is great and it was clean. And that's as far as it... more

This is the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in, the atmosphere is excellent and it has an amazing lounge that feels like it's in a pricey lodge rather than a hostel. The rooms are fairly small, but they are well laid out, clean and comfortable. And how many hostels have a free sauna! more

Think this is the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in. Started off by having dinner in the restaurant which was pretty nice considering its a hostel - sounds as though its frequented often by people not even staying there as well. Rooms themselves are pretty standard, I was in a typical 2 bunk room. A small hall off the common... more

This is not your average hostel! A beautiful lounge with a fireplace, couches and internet access. There is also a gorgeous meeting room with beautiful wood floors. The food in the cafe is some of the best I've experienced in Lake Louise and a great value for your money as well. The staff were so helpful and quick to offer... more

At about $110 or 120 in summer this is an expensive hostel. But there aren't many cheaper options in Lake Louise. Our room was a double bed, shared washroom. The room was quite cramped. We didn't hear much from our neighbour sharing the room, which was lucky as the doors slammed quite loudly. The bed was small also but comfy.... more
