It's hard to complain about a hotel in this spectacular location. The view from our (small but adequate) top-floor room overlooked the lake and the Rockies. Chateau Lake Louise is the most famous hotel in the Lake Louise area, with it's large palace like exterior and location right next to the main Lake Louise, it's not hard to see why it's such as desirable hotel to stay in. We spent 3 nights at the Chateau over Christmas. They really do Christmas well, with an ice castle, skating, caroling, and great food. The views of Lake Louise from this hotel are incredible. We stayed 5 days in the winter. The views are fabulous and the staff is outstanding. We had a large suite and our two teenagers had a double twin room.
