This lodge was cozy and comfortable - especially liked the day beds in the lodge for avid readers and the like. Skokie is all that the others have said above. However, the hiking trails were spectacular in the extreme. We hiked the High Trail to Merlin Lake in a swirling snow squall that turned into a very good storm. Skoki is 14km from the nearest road - you hike in with everything you need. The lodge itself is a Canadian heritage site and the perfect log cabin.
