Morain Lake is absolutely beautiful, although we were surprised that the lake was still 75% frozen over in mid-June. The view from the cabin was spectacular, but the cabin was impractically small. It was well decorated, and the bathroom was a good size, but the main space had just enough room to walk around the bed (except in the corner... More

Not only is this lodge situated in one of the most beautiful spots in this world, the decor of the rooms, the more than exquisite food (expensive...so be prepared), the happy, well-informed and fun staff, to the anything-we-can-do-to-make-your-stay-better front desk and management makes Moraine Lake Lodge truly a perfect vacation. No TV, no phone! Yes! But, Wifi, just in case... More

We took advantage of the special promoted on the Cathedral Mountain site and stayed two nights each at Cathedral Mountain and Lake Moraine. Wow! It's a great deal and we highly recommend both locations. Lake Moraine is more spectacular and has more activities. Cathedral Mountain cabins are more isolated. But there is great hiking both places and we LOVED both!

We LOVED this hotel and are so glad we stayed here. We have travelled the world for 12 months and holidayed all over the world, staying in everything from hostels to 5 star hotels and this is one of the best (if not the best) hotel we've ever stayed in. Everything was just wonderful, from the friendly greeting and informative... More

When I heard they did not have room service, I thought "oh dear - not my kind of hotel" but how wrong could I be! From the moment you arrive you are taken care of by warm and friendly staff with a "can do" attitude. Nothing is too much trouble. I only wish I had stayed longer. Go for the... More

This was our fourth visit to Moraine Lake Lodge- the second time with friends. Michael Clark, GM, again provided every comfort. His staff is focused on service and on exceeding expectations and they do it well. Think of a comfortable lodge, excellent meals and quiet cabins amid scenery that was pictured on the Canadian twenty dollar bill several years ago.... More

Wow! We just loved Moraine Lake Lodge and would say it was one of the real highlights of our 3 weeks in Canada. All the staff were excellent and appeared genuinely interested in you and what you were doing on your travels. We were in one of the rooms attached to the main building and just loved it. We had... Moraine lake lodge is a good hotel with cottage style room located in a magnificent setting. The rooms are nice and the service is excellent but there is only one restaurant and it is very expensive for the quality of the food.

We visited Lake Moraine for two days in June. Our cabin ( no.2) was well appointed and the view was spectacular. We were not disturbed by the daytrippers. The lake itself was the highlight of this part of our holiday and we have some wonderful photographs. We ate in the dining room each night and found the menu excellent. However the... More
