Excellent service all around - all members of staff were friendly, enthusiastic and more than happy to help. The hotel is amazingly well located right on the shore of Moraine Lake. During the day there are a fair amount of tourists milling around but in the early mornings and evenings hotel guests have the lake view to themselves. We really... More

We loved our stay. Moraine lake is breathtaking. Our cabin's window overlooked the lake. We enjoyed the hiking, biking, and canoeing all of which is easily accessible. The lodge itself is very unassuming and yet top notch. The room was big and comfy. There was a fireplace and a porch. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. There... More

We loved this beautiful Lodge and were so glad that we chose the lake view room as it was amazing to sit on the verandah and admire the colour of Moraine Lake. Dinner was a special event and buffet breakfast was delicious. We would recommend this accommodation for a special treat - definitely worth the cost.

Rustic lodge set in a picture postcard setting, next to a beautiful lake which mirrors the stunning mountains and glaciers. Our room was in the main building with small balcony and French doors opening out to this breathtaking view. The room had a gas stove (looked just like a wood burner),the bed was dressed with a tartan rug and beside lamps... More

Without doubt this was the best hotel of our Canadian trip. The main building, where our room was located, is a large wooden lodge. It is devoid of modern day features, such as tv in the room, or indeed anywhere in the hotel. However who needs tv when your hotel is located in one of the most beautiful parts of... More

Moraine lake lodge has views that are breathtaking. We had a lakeside room and it was worth the extra dollars. Overall, I would recommend the lodge. But, it would have been nice if the bathroom doors would have closed properly. Upon arriving, we let them know the door would not close. They never fixed it. Also, the second night my... More

What a wonderful place to stay. I was travelling with my family, including 3 teenagers, but decided it was worth spending one night here, even though it is expensive. I am a keen photographer, so it was fantastic to be able to watch both the sunset and sunrise from the rockpile and without anyone else (at sunrise)! We had two... More

Spent 3 nights here recently and wish it had been 3 weeks. Breathtakingly beautiful scenery. Fabulous bedroom with the best view ever - straight through the pines to the lake. Friendly and helpful staff - nothing too much trouble. Wonderful food too. Evening walks sublime. We even had a sleepy porcupine trundle across our path. The lake is very popular... More

We stayed in a cabin overlooking the magnificent turquoise lake and mountains. The weather was cool and a little rainy but we had a wood burning stove which made the cabin so cozy. The fire is set for you every morning and plenty of wood is stacked outside your door. There is no television in the room which seems appropriate... More

This was a return visit for us as we knew last time we stayed that we hadn't booked long enough here! Great staff who just can't do enough for you and the view from the lodge rooms is just the best out of any bedroom window anywhere in the world. The stay is very pricey but there are various things... More
