Moraine lake lodge has views that are breathtaking. We had a lakeside room and it was worth the extra dollars. Overall, I would recommend the lodge. But, it would have been nice if the bathroom doors would have closed properly. Upon arriving, we let them know the door would not close. They never fixed it. Also, the second night my... More

What a wonderful place to stay. I was travelling with my family, including 3 teenagers, but decided it was worth spending one night here, even though it is expensive. I am a keen photographer, so it was fantastic to be able to watch both the sunset and sunrise from the rockpile and without anyone else (at sunrise)! We had two... More

Spent 3 nights here recently and wish it had been 3 weeks. Breathtakingly beautiful scenery. Fabulous bedroom with the best view ever - straight through the pines to the lake. Friendly and helpful staff - nothing too much trouble. Wonderful food too. Evening walks sublime. We even had a sleepy porcupine trundle across our path. The lake is very popular... More

We stayed in a cabin overlooking the magnificent turquoise lake and mountains. The weather was cool and a little rainy but we had a wood burning stove which made the cabin so cozy. The fire is set for you every morning and plenty of wood is stacked outside your door. There is no television in the room which seems appropriate... More

This was a return visit for us as we knew last time we stayed that we hadn't booked long enough here! Great staff who just can't do enough for you and the view from the lodge rooms is just the best out of any bedroom window anywhere in the world. The stay is very pricey but there are various things... More

Stayed here with my adult daughter for two nights. It was such a wonderful experience that we asked to extend our stay another evening and cancelled our next reservation. Our lodge room was not available but we were given a variety of choices and settled on one. A short time later they knocked on our door and offered us a... More

We pushed the boat out for our final three nights and we are so glad we did. We stayed in one of the lodge cabins with a view of the lake. The bathroom was a bit on the small side but the room itself was lovely with a small sunken lounge area with a real fire. Lake Moraine itself is... More

This place is absolutely gorgeous with a rustic and cozy feel. The staff is very welcoming and goes above and beyond the call of duty every time. For example, I forgot a simple inexpensive necklace during my engagement weekend there and the staff took the time out of their day to email us and send it to us! I was... More

My husband and I stay here for 2 nights last weekend (June 27-29th) We were able to book one of the cabins with a beautiful view of this gorgeous lake. We arrived at about 2 pm - I had asked for an early check-in but our room was not available. No problem - we decided to go for a paddle... More
