Booked this hotel when I could find no other available in the village boundary of Lake Louise in my price range. Lake Louise Chateau is way overpriced to put up with the kind of tourist traffic there and the Deer Lodge is the same right next door to Chateau Louise. The Post Hotel reminds me very much of the hotels in... The Post Hotel is outstanding in every way. From the baggage handlers at the door, to the desk personnel, to the restaurant inside the hotel, to the pub on the grounds. The room is spotlessly clean, with good appointments in the room and in the bathroom. The tub was a zacuzzi which was very nice after a long day's hike... More

We picked the Post Hotel because it is located near Lake Louise, instead of the busy Banff downtown area. Very happy with the decision, overall. The room rate was expensive but it was worth it. Nothing fancy. Low key. Quiet. Liked the swimming pool. Friendly staff. Great location -- within walking distance to the town's grocery store. (The other big... More

I had my first visit to the Post this past weekend and it is an amazing hotel with the best staff there is. Too bad there aren't more stars on this rating system because I would give them 10 stars. We chose the Post as headquarters for our wedding including a dinner at the restaurant. I can't say enough about... More

We travelled to Lake Louise in August, 2015 with our 3 teenagers. The first night we were in the end room (loft) on the "train side". On the second night we moved across the hall to the "preferred side", same style room. Both rooms have balconies, with the second room overlooking the stream and the first overlooking the parking lot... More

We went for lunch to our favourite restaurant, the Post. Once again the food and service did not disappoint. I enjoyed their Clubhouse sandwich again. Delicious! It is pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. This restaurant is a must, if you have never been.

This is the first time we have come here in the summer. We always did in the winter for skiing and such. This time we stayed at a loft type room. We liked it but would have been better if it had a balcony and a view like the rooms we had previously. I used the spa to my outmost... More

In our view this is the top hotel in Alberta, if not in Canada. Family-run, Swiss-quality service, fantastic meals, unparalleled scenery. The B rooms with king size beds with fireplaces are like heaven and so is the spa and the pool. We have stayed there at least 25 times and we keep on coming back. That says enough.

Great location, quiet, well kept. Rooms are very nice. Property has a rustic feel. The cottages by the river are very romantic. There is a quaint pub in the property. Evening complimentary high tea is served daily. The lounge serves excellent wine.

We had recently stayed at the Post Hotel & Spa Lake Louise, Alberta Canada in the month of June 2015. We must say that not only was this property well planned and maintained but also enjoyed our stay. The scenery was magnificent and the views where spectacular. The food was excellent and the surroundings beautiful. Pretty view of mountains and... More
