Last time we were in Lake Louise, we stayed at the famous "Chateau" nearby. While that hotel is pretty majestic, we weren't totally blown away by it and opted instead to try something new - the Post Hotel. At the Post, we received the same first-class, luxury treatment you would expect from the Chateau but in a much more charming... More

We were here for my birthday. We had my 2 1/2 year old daughter with us too. Loved this place. We had stayed previously in the "other" famous hotel in the area. This place felt less commercialised. The service was personal and attentive and not over the top. Everyone knew our family and made my daughter feel comfortable. Check in... More

Everything about the Post Hotel oozes luxury. Some of it appears old-fashioned but i think that's part of the charm. What else do you need: a comfortable room with modern TV and wi-fi; a spa and adjoining swimming pool and hot tub; tea, coffee and cakes when you get in from the slopes; a complimentary shuttle to the entrance of... Although i didn't stay at The Post. I had a wonderful spa experience. The massage was first rate and the facilities were exceptionally clean and nice. The salt water jacuzzi (no chlorine) was really a plus. Even the products set out for clients to use were exceptional.

We have recently returned from our third stay at the wonderful Post Hotel and our experience was as good as ever. Everything is of a standard that would be expected from a hotel of this calibre but it is still great to have expectations met. Rooms are well appointed and very clean but you need to consult the accommodation guide... More

Some have commented that The Post needs an update. I am not convinced. What I look for in a hotel in a place like Lake Loiuse medwinter when the skiing is good is warmth, comfort, good food and preferably a pool or hot tub. The Post scores high on all of these points. Guests have been coming here for years... More

The Post Hotel is a well equipped hotel that meets your needs while offering lux comfort. It is well position along the river. We enjoyed riding bikes nearby in a wooded area along the creek. The hotel boasts a selection of choices for dinning - from delicious pub food to fine dining. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. The... More

We visited the Lake Louise area in the summer of 2014 and stayed at the Post Hotel for 5 days at the recommendation of a friend. While the rates for the hotel are a bit on the rich side, we were assured that the service, accommodations and food would be good, and we were not disappointed at all. We were... More

This hotel, family-run by Swiss ex-pats, is comfortable and cosy during the winter. We stayed in the largest of the free-standing cabins by the frozen creek. We loved the huge fireplace stocked with endless wood and the giant jet-tub in the bathroom. The hotel is showing a few signs of wear and tear and could use a refresh-- particularly the... More

Firstly, for anyone who hasn't been to Lake Louise, it is a small resort village. At one end is the huge Chateau Lake Louise and at the other end if the ski area. In between is a village with about a dozen small shops (general store, liquor store, bakery and ski wear). The Post Hotel is just next to the... More
