My husband and I came here for two nights of our honeymoon in the fall. George arranged for us to have an absolutely stunning suite, complete with champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries. There is a fabulous jacuzzi bath tub, and the bathroom had a vanity area, which you don't see much of anymore. The whole place is maintained meticulously, in the... More

This is a very nice and professionally run hotel. The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable (though see below). The food and wine list are amazing though of course this comes with a price, which we thought was not objectionable. Excellent views and in a wonderful spot. Totally away from the hordes at the Chateau. Would return without hesitation... More

It was lovely to get out of the city. To begin with, a group of us booked the cabins last summer to celebrate our friends' 50th as a surprise. During the winter, the pipes froze which caused damage to conveniently our cabin :) The hotel was amazing. They immediately booked us into their nicest room (H). They certainly didn't have... More

This Post Hotel (one of many in North America) is hard by Lake Louise and affords easy access to the splendid views of this iconic destination. The hotel is lovely, with well appointed public areas and rooms. We took a "deluxe" king room, with a fireplace, which we used; we were there in April, when there is still plenty of... More

Overrated by far. Was happy to leave, staff in the dining room seemed too rushed especially the (morning) hostess' and for no reason, they need to learn to relax...it's breakfast. I'm paying an overpriced meal (CA $18 continental breakfast...yes, it's not included) just to see them run around for me when I'd rather see someone who actually looks like they... More

Nice hotel and restaurant. The restaurant is excellent but very expensive but they also have a 'pub' which is more reasonably priced and quite buzzy. The spa is fairly minimalist, just a small pool and hot tub but they also have a steam room and a small gym.

We recently stayed at the hotel in one of their fireplace rooms as part of a ski package and we loved every minute of our stay. We had previously had dinner in the restaurant (without staying at the hotel previously), did so again and so enjoyed the experience. Breakfast each morning was just delicious, with a choice of wonderful hot... More

It was my husband's Birthday and our Wedding Anniversary and we stayed for two nights. We stayed in a suite on the 'preferred side' of the hotel that had two bathrooms (and an additional single bed on the ground floor of the suite) This stay was outstanding: -we were made to feel like very welcome friends, rather than guests, at... Four of us stayed for a night on our drive through the mountains and it was wonderful! We were going to stay at the Chateau Lake Louise but were advised against it by a friend who had stayed there and was disappointed. We stayed at the Post instead and so glad we did. The meal in the restaurant was exquisite... More
