We chose to stay here after reading a number of disappointed-sounding reviews of the Chateau, and were very pleased with our decision. The Paradise Lodge and Bungalows are historic properties developed back in the 30's, lovingly maintained and modernized. The grounds are immaculate, with flowers abounding along the road. The individual bungalows are tastefully furnished, and have very comfortable bedding.... more

We've stayed in alot of cabins but this one was just 10 classes above any other. We stopped here buy chance hoping they had something available because we were too tired to drive any further, and they gave us a beautiful cabin with a gorgeous claw foot bathtub, great collection of cd's in the cabin for some romantic listening, the... more

I chose this place after reading the positive reviews on Trip Advisor, and was very glad I did. The cabin was small but cosy, and very clean and comfortable. I was especially happy with the bathroom, which had modern facilities and plenty of hot water. The only negative was the lighting, which was insufficient, making it difficult to read in... more

Excellent location. We stayed before in the Lodge buildings, but this time we stayed in a Cooper cabin. We preferred the atmospheric cabin, although at first we found it to be quite dark (and had some doubts whether we could keep it warm enough for my wife's liking - freezing temperatures outside at night in mid June). However the cabin... more

My husband and I just returned from a 7 night stay in one of the Fairview Suites on the back of the property and found it to be most charming. Since I "found" this spot just by a search on the Internet awhile back and not from recommendations from friends, we were most pleasantly surprised at what awaited us. The... more

We enjoyed our four nights at Paradise. We shared a Saddleback Suite with another couple. The rooms were pleasantly appointed and the refrigerator and microwave were welcome additions for stashing our fruit for a quick breakfast or an evening snack. The room with the entry door did become quite warm and stuffy at night, even though the evenings and nights... more

We stayed in a Cooper cabin for a couple of nights. It was a little bit of a tight space for a family of 4 (2 young children) but very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was great with the wooden panelling and claw footed tub. The views were beautiful from the cabin and the kitchen came in handy as well.... more

My husband and I stayed at Paradise bungalows for 3 nights during a 2 week trip to Canada. It was by far the best place we stayed at! The bed was so comfy it was difficult to get up in the morning and the fantastic bathroom was much better than you would get in your typical 5* hotel with a... more

The accommodation was 1st class all round. Fully equiped top class self catering accommodation. We stayed in the Honeymoon suite which had a jacuzzi in the room and a gas fire and very comfortable furniture in the living area. The views from the room were magnificent. The accommodation was very clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpfull... more

We were very pleased with our "saddleback suite" at Paradise Lodge and Bungalows. There were two bedrooms each with a queen bed and TV. Please note that one TV is very small. But, chances are, you will be doing very little TV watching. There is one shared bathroom between the rooms. There is also another sink in the kitchenette area... more
