Had a great romantic getaway at Lake Louise Inn. The setting is beautiful with the different buildings - almost like a private compound. The village is a short stroll away and there are always plenty of things to do. Lots of choices for food on site and nearby. Some other people on this site have complained about the service but... more

What a HUGE waste of money!!! save yourself the grief and go elsewhere. We arrived and were checked into building #4, after walking into the room we walked right back out and asked for another room as it was one of the shabbiest spaces imaginable, I've seen better in hostels. Our second room was not that much better, but was... more

Stayed at the inn as part of a coach tour programme. The room was warm on arrival (great for a May visit, as it's quite chilly!) and comfortable, with good furnishings. Everywhere was clean and well equipped. There is a good choice of food at 3 locations in the main building. We had a meal in the basement pub, which... more

This hotel was seriously understaffed during our stay. We managed to have our room cleaned for most of the days there because I made direct contact with the cleaning staff. Reception and service staff were however thin on the ground and unable to deal with questions, complaints and quereies. We were located in the block nearest to the hotel entrance,... more

We stayed here for two nights over Easter while we skied Lake Louise. We arrived in the area and went straight to the mountain. After a day of skiing, we arrived at the hotel around 5:30-6PM only to be told our room was not yet cleaned. I was amazed at this, given how late in the day it was. They... more

Overall the experience was okay and as a base to ski from every day I can't really complain. However, they seem to be seriously lacking in staff - both in the bars and for room services. Our room (economy in the Pinery - building 4) was dirty and remained so, particularly the bathroom (I shudder to think of the grime... more

We booked in here using our local travel agent who got us a good deal for an 11 night stay. I then read the mixed reviews and wondered 'what have I done!'. I need not have worried as from the instant we arrived until the day we left the service was friendly and the accom brilliant. Granted we were upgraded... more

We chose this place purely based on price, and we found it to be adequate for our needs. We were out hiking during the day and just used the accommodation for eating and sleeping. The kitchen was decent but we ended up using the hotel's bar for our dinner. more

A party of 8 (including 2 kids) stayed at Lake Louise Inn for 2 weeks at beginning of Jan. Location perfect, only 5 mins on free shuttle bus to ski hill. Had no problems at all, the reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Our travel agent booked the wrong rooms and as soon as we mentioned this we were... more

We stayed at the Lake Louise Inn over xmas 2007, with my wife, daughter(2 and a half) and some friend with their children. First impressions when getting off the coach were great, loads of snow very picturesque etc......Then we checked in... The reception staff were not helpful at all.....didn't seem to know what they were doing..Couldn't find our booking...then thought... more
